This safari starts in Nairobi and ends in Nairobi. You will be picked at your Nairobi hotel or Airport by a 4 x 4 tour vehicle for your 6 days safari journey. You’ll head out on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway to Amboseli national park also known as “The Land of the Giants”. Because you’ll see more magnificent herds of Elephants here in the wild than anywhere else in the world, its also regarded as the best place in Africa and indeed the world for its beautiful scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. On the way, you’ll stop to have breakfast, refreshments, and short bathroom break as well as enjoying the scenery on the way. This is a relaxing drive through African savannah country, with local homesteads punctuating the vast plain. Watch for Masai herdsmen, draped in their colorful wraps as they tend to their flocks. You will arrive early afternoon, check in your hotel and after a relaxed lunch and refreshing, you will start your first game drive in Amboseli where you will discover why Amboseli is regarded as home of the Jumbos. Amboseli national park lies at the floors of the Mount Kilimanjaro, and the mountain offers scenic background for photography. You will return at the camp at late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

This day is spent in Amboseli with early morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve with option of a full day game drive. After breakfast head for a morning game drive to this park where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground. As you search for wildlife among the grassy plains of Amboseli, you will be amazed by the sights of elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, and other animals roaming the landscape, you may even be lucky enough to spot some of the Big Five—elephants, lions, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards. Throughout the day you will also have opportunities to take in breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro from different angles. After the morning game drive, you will break for a hot lunch at the lodge, then return for evening game drive. Later you will return to the lodge and enjoy a restful night and get ready for another exciting day of exploring.

After breakfast, you’ll check out from the hotel and embark on your journey to Masai mara where you’ll arrive at the safari lodge in time for lunch. And upon check in and a hot lunch you’ll refresh and relax in your room as you rejuvenate for the real adventure which begins with evening game drive. Even a short game drive in the Masai Mara gives you a hint of what awaits you in the ensuing days in Masai Mara safari. Before venturing deep into the rolling plains, you will soon encounter herds of different kinds of wildlife out grazing or chasing their dinner. If lucky, you might witness a predator on the hunt or spot a rare animal such as a Leopard. It is not uncommon to spot some of the big 5 [Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino on your very first outing! Masai Mara National Reserve is truly the ultimate Kenya safari destination. After the game drive, you will return to camp for dinner and overnight stay. The day starts with a good breakfast and later depart for a full day game drive with picnic lunch. You will head down to the vast savannah grassland in search for big five and other plain animals. Be ready for many hours of excitement! Your guide will make sure to bring a packed lunch from your hotel, and guide you in search of Africa’s most charismatic megafauna. You’ll see elephants, giraffes, buffalos and countless ungulates like gazelles, zebras and antelopes. At lunchtime, your driver/ guide will pick a scenic (and safe) spot where you will enjoy your lunch as you discuss the incredible wildlife show you have just witnessed. After watching more of the spectacle that never gets dull, you will drive back to your safari lodge in time for dinner, and maybe spend some time with your loved one, carrying memories that will last a lifetime.
