your accomodation will be a 3mx3m do2 person spacious dome tent (L3m x W3m x H2.5m) with built in groundsheet, 2 large aerating windows with mosquito netting. bedding with high density foam mattress, bed linen and pillow. warm bucket shower, bath towel, hand towel, hand basin and wilderness toilet

Itinerary of your trip 3 Day Mokoro Trip

  • Day 1 Day 1-3: Mokoro Safari
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1-3: Mokoro Safari

      Day 1:

      After  breakfast we will   pick from your place of stay around 0700hrs,  and road  transfer you to the mokoro station in  4WD open sided safari vehicle and it is approximately one hour drive.


       Upon arrival  you will meet your qualified guide provided by the community . He/She  will pole you along the  water channels looking for wildlife and bird species which inhabit the Delta. There are no facilities out there as you camp on an island chosen by your guide. On arrival your guide will take you for a game walk where you can enjoy awesome sightings while your camp is being made and upon arrival you will find lunch ready . After lunch you may enjoy a siesta moment in camp to avoid the mid-day heat. Your accommodation will be a 3m x 3m dome tent with  ensuit facilities acomfortable bedding

      Day 2

      An early morning game walk will be available after breakfast and upon returning to the camp we will have some snacks 

      After lunch we will go to our  mekoros  and go through the  channels, these intricate veins of waterways which interconnect the lagoons, where we will see a lot of aquatic birds and animals  such as hippos and crocodiles , your guide will find a safe location where swimming is possible in the waters of the Okavango Delta, followed by a chance to learn how to pole a mokoro. 

      Time can be taken to ask your guide about the area and the flora and fauna  while you are relaxing around the camp fire under the star lit African sky



      Day 3

      After breakfast we pole our way back to the Mokoro station with periodic stops of game viewing , upon arrival at the station we will be road transferred to Maun, arriving at your place of stay in the late afternoon
