Stop 1: Canada Place
Canada Place is a large building situated on Vancouverโs Burrard Inlet waterfront. It is the home of the Vancouver Convention Centre, the Pan Pacific Vancouver Hotel, Vancouverโs World Trade Centre, and the virtual flight ride Fly Over Canada.
Stop 2: Chinatown
Vancouverโs Chinatown is the largest in Canada. Itโs famous for its restaurants, stores, Sun Yat-Sen Garden and annual Chinese New Year Parade. The area is located primarily along Pender, Main and Keefer Streets, between Gastown and the Downtown Eastside.
Stop 3: Robson Street
When you come to Vancouver nightlife, Davie Street in downtown Vancouver is the place to be. Packed with clubs, bars, and restaurants.
Stop 4: Gastown
Gastown is a mix of "hip" contemporary fashion and interior furnishing boutiques, tourist-oriented businesses (generally restricted to Water Street), restaurants, nightclubs, and both lower-income and new upscale housing. In addition, there are law firms, architects and other professional offices, as well as computer and internet businesses, art galleries, music and art studios, and acting and film schools.
Stop 5: Stanley Park
One of the most famous places to visit in Vancouver. As you enter, you will be blown away by all the greenery and beauty this place displays. Stanley Park was one of the first areas explored in Vancouver and it is an abode to everything related to nature. It is the oldest park in Vancouver, and the largest inner-city park in North America, where you can spend a quiet evening with your partner, soaking up the view of a golden sunset.
Stop 6: English Bay
English Bay Beach, also called First Beach, located along Beach Ave between Gilford St and Bidwell St, is the most populated beach area in Vancouverโs downtown area. The Stanley Park Seawall, a popular running and biking route, runs along the east side of the beach.
Stop 7: Olympic Village Square
The Olympic Village Square was a hub of activity during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Today, itโs a lively community with shops, cafes, and public art installations. Stroll through this area to get a sense of the cityโs Olympic history.
Stop 8: Downtown Vancouver
Downtown Vancouver is the heart of the city, featuring a blend of commercial and residential spaces. Itโs a bustling area with numerous shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. You can explore the bustling streets, visit the Vancouver Art Gallery, or simply take in the urban vibe.
Stop 9: Coal Harbour Marina
Coal Harbour is the modern part of the city lined with glass skyscrapers overlooking Burrard Inlet. Itโs also where youโll see massive skyscrapers, yachts in the marinas, and people walking and jogging along the seawall between downtown and Stanley Park
Stop 10: Granville Island
Granville Island is a vibrant cultural district filled with artisan shops, galleries, theatres, and restaurants. Itโs a haven for artists and food enthusiasts alike. Explore the bustling Public Market, sample gourmet foods, shop for unique handmade crafts, and enjoy live performances. The islandโs waterfront location provides stunning views and a perfect setting for a stroll.
Stop 11: False Creek
False Creek is a picturesque inlet in the heart of Vancouver. Itโs surrounded by parks and is a popular spot for kayaking, walking, and enjoying the waterfront views. Take a leisurely walk along the seawall and appreciate the scenic beauty.
Stop 12: Vancouver Seawall
The Vancouver Seawall is a popular path for walking, running, and cycling. It offers breathtaking views of the cityโs skyline and waterfront. You can enjoy a relaxing stroll along the seawall, soak in the scenery, and capture some memorable moments.
Stop 13: Vancouver Lookout
Take a glass elevator up 168 meters (553 feet) to enjoy a 360ยฐ view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains and the vibrant downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the cityโs skyline since 1977.
Stop 14: Pass by Lions Gate Bridge
The Lions Gate Bridge is an iconic Vancouver landmark, connecting the city to the North Shore. While we wonโt make a stop here, youโll have the opportunity to see this magnificent suspension bridge as we pass by, providing a perfect photo opportunity.
Stop 15: Yaletown
Yaletown is a trendy, upscale neighbourhood known for its historic charm and modern sophistication. The area features chic boutiques, cozy cafes, and an array of fine dining options. Itโs a great place for shopping, dining, and people-watching. Yaletown is also home to beautiful parks and scenic seawalls, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
