Stop At: Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, Paro-Thimphu Highway, Paro 12001 Bhutan

Visit the temple and the bridge built by handmade iron chain. It would be fun to cross the swinging bridge over the roaring river.

Stop At: Thimphu Chorten (Memorial Chorten), Thimphu Bhutan

Located in the midst of Thimphu Valley is a beautiful memorial chorten. Devotees from all walk of life flock to the temple throughout the day to turn the prayer wheels. The paintings and statues inside the monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy.

visit Tashichho Dzong the impressive fortress which houses the secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty the King and various government offices. It is also the summer residence of the Chief Abbot and central monk body. Witness the Flag lowering ceremony before you enter the Dzong.

Take the children to the Institute of Zorig Chusum. You will come across students actively engaged in painting, embroidery, woodcraft ,masonry,sculptor and carpentry. If interested the kids can take part in the activities and get introduced to Bhutanese rich arts and craft.

It is a beautiful garden with ponds and varied species of plants. You can listen to the spiritual sound resounding from Tashichodzong, the Wangchuk River flows just beyond and you can also get the spectacular view of Himalayas

โ— Drive up to Dochu-la pass (3,088m/10,130ft) stopping briefly here to take in the view and admire the 108 chortens, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road.

If skies are clear, the high Himalayan peaks towards the north east will be revealed in all their glory. On a clear day, the following peaks can be seen from this pass (left to right): Masagang (7,158m), Tsendegang (6,960m), Terigang (7,060m), Jejegangphugang (7,158m), Kangphugang (7,170m), Zongaphugang (7,060m) a table mountain that dominates the isolated region of Lunana, and finally, Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7,497m.

Stop At: Chimi Lhakhang Temple, Punakha Bhutan

โ— Hike to Chemi Lhakhang through a nice walk along the rice field and through farm houses. The temple was built by Lama Nawang Chogyel in 1499 after the site was blessed by Drukpa Kunley , the divine madman. The monastery is the repository of the original wooden symbol of phallus that Kunley brought from Tibet. And today it has become a popular temple where barren women come to pray for a child. The temple is popularly known as the Fertility Temple

Stop At: Punakha Dzong, Punakha 13001 Bhutan

โ— Visit Punakha Dzong, a massive structure built at the junction of two rivers. Punakha was Bhutanโ€™s capital until 1955 and Punakha Dzong still serves as the winter residence of the central monk body. Bhutanโ€™s first king, Ugyen Wangchuck, was crowned here in 1907. The fortress has withstood damage from fire, earthquake and flood over the centuries. The latest flood, in October, 1994, caused great damage to the fortress but miraculously spared its most holy statue

The 160 metres Pho Chhu Suspension Bridge is known for the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan, which gives you spectacular views of Punakha Dzong and the Pho Chhu Valley.

Phobjikha Valley Exploration

The most beautiful and shortest of the existing nature trails in Bhutan. The trail hike starts from the Mani (like Chhorten) stone wall to the north of the Gangtey Gonpa and ends in Khewa Lhakhang. The hike takes about 1hr 30minutes through the pine forest and small bamboo plants. You can see the Phobjkha valley so beautifully from this hike. It is one of the best hike places for the Nature lovers. During the winter months, we can see the endangered species of birds โ€“ Black Neck Cranes

Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, built in the 7th century by the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo.

Stop At: Paro Taktsang, Taktsang Trail BT, Paro Bhutan

one of the holiest and the most beautiful sites of Bhutan. Taktshang, the tigerโ€™s lair, acquires its name from the legend of its foundation, when in the 8th Century Guru Rimpoche, widely revered as the second Buddha, arrived from Tibet flying across the mountains on the back of a tigress.

It is the main seat of the Pema Lingpa tradition .Light butter lamp, offer incense, hoist prayer flags and interact with little monks .
