Day 1: Rinas Airport - Tirana

Arrival at Rinas Airport. Our first destination is Tirana. Tirana is the capital and largest city in Albania. Will be visited Bunkart 1/2 This fantastic conversion โ€“ from a massive Cold War bunker on the outskirts of Tirana into a history and contemporary art museum โ€“ is Albania's most exciting new sight and easily a Tirana highlight. With almost 3000 sq metres of space underground spread over several floors, the bunker was built for Albania's political elite in the 1970s and remained a secret for much of its existence. Now it hosts exhibits that combine the modern history of Albania with pieces of contemporary art.

Pyramid National From 1944 to 1992, Albania was governed under a harsh Communist ideal that modeled itself after Stalinism. Landmarks such as the pyramid of Tirana still recall darker days. The out-of-place pyramid was built as a museum in honor of Enver Hoxha, a former Albanian leader who furthered the ideals of Stalinism for decades after the Russian dictator died. Designed by Hoxhaโ€™s daughter and son-in-law to keep the leaderโ€™s legacy alive, earning it the informal name, โ€œThe Enver Hoxha Mausoleum.โ€ The museum retained its original purpose until 1991, and as national attitudes began to change, the space was converted to a convention center in the first shift in purpose that would eventually lead to its downfall.

he National Museum of History is a historical museum in Tirana, Albania. It was opened on 28 October 1981 and is 27,000 square metres in size, while 18,000 square metres are available for expositions. Above the entrance of the museum is a large mural mosaic titled The Albanians that depicts purported ancient to modern figures from Albania's history. The museum includes the following pavilions: the Pavilion of Antiquity, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Independence, Iconography, National Liberation Antifascist War, Communist , and Mother Teresa.

Day 2: Lezhe

Lezha is a town in northwest Albania. The city seems to date to the late 4th century.
Lezha Castle
Is perched on the top of the hill 186 meters high overlooking the town. Because of the strategic location from here the visitor can see the outlet of Drin river, the Adriatic coast and even the mount Tomorr and Sazan island in south . The castle dates since the Illyrian times bit it has been reconstructed by venetians in the year 1440 .After , the ottomans did another reconstruction in the year 1552 .

Day 3: Shkodra

Shkodra, it is one of the oldest cities in the country, founded in the 4th century B.C. as the center of the Labeat tribe of Illyrians known with the name Scodra.It is surrounded by the waters of three rivers; the Drini, Buna, and Kiri. Much like the town it protected, the castle has Illyrian origins.

By road the city is 99 kilometres (62 miles) northwest of Skopje, 85 kilometres (53 miles) south of Pristina and 175 kilometres (109 miles) northeast of Tirana.

The Sinan Pasha Mosque is an Ottoman mosque in the city of Prizren, Kosovo.[a] It was built in 1615 by Sofi Sinan Pasha, bey of Budim. The mosque overlooks the main street of Prizren and is a dominant feature in the town's skyline.
Sinan Pasha Mosque was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990 by the Republic of Serbia.The mosque is built over an elevated foundation, the access of which is provided on its northern side, by a stone-carved staircase. Its design layout is rectangular, with a niche in its south-eastern side, which makes the mosque different from other mosques in Kosovo.

Day 6: Durres - Albania

Durrรซsi, the biggest seaport of the country, is located 34km away from Tirana. It is the most ancient city in Albania or the eternal city over Adriatic sea , with almost 3,000 years of history. Its foundation dates back to 627 B.C. when the Corinthians and settlers from Corcyra invaded the Illyrian territory of the Taulants.

The Royal Villa of Durrรซs, commonly known as Zog's Villa of Durrรซs, is a historical building in the city of Durrรซs, Albania. It served as the summer residence of King Zog.
It was used as the summer palace by the Albanian Royal family during the reign of the Monarchy and still remains a symbol of the Monarchy in the City.
It was restored to Leka Crown Prince of Albania in 2007. The restoration process was accepted and approved by the Albanian lands commission, following all the legal procedures without contest. The Palace was a gift given by the Durrรซs business community as a sign of prosperity to King Zog.

The Durrรซs Archaeological Museum in Durrรซs, Albania, established in 1951, is the largest archaeological museum in the country. The 1997 rebellion in Albania saw the museum seriously damaged and looted.
