      Day 2: National Park

      This half-day tour to the National Park of the End of the World is an activity for the whole family, ideal to know the most important points of this national reserve fueguina, enjoy the best scenery and the most interesting stories.

      It is located only 11 km. from the city. We will be able to appreciate within its limits lakes, lagoons and rivers, and its exit towards the Beagle Channel, characteristic that differentiates it from the other national parks of our country. From the port, along Maipรบ Avenue towards the southwest by the national route no. 3, we will pass through the outskirts of the city until we reach the slopes of Monte Susana, a witness to the work of the convicts of the old prison, where the station of the Austral Fueguino Railway is located. Here we will stop for this optional tour. Those passengers who do NOT take the train from the End of the World will visit the area of โ€‹โ€‹Bahia Ensenada where we can see the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and on the other coast of the Beagle Channel the Nevado Mountains of the Sampaio Chain (Chile). After the Train, all together we will take the route nro again. 3, by a narrow path that at your side shows us the different species of our flora fueguina, we will arrive at the Roca Lake and we will make a walk bordering the Lake and the Lapataia River, natural drainage of the same. From this point, the landscape dominates Cerro Cรณndor, whose peak crosses the border with the Rep. Of Chile. We will go to the other end of the Park, where the national route ends. # 3, in Lapataia Bay. Finally, we will pass through the beaver dam, whose path will lead us to Lapataia Bay.

      Passing it to look for the Perito Moreno Glacier, located inside the National Park Los Glaciares.Es an impressive river of ice with a surface of 195 km2; a length of 30 km and its front has an extension of 5,5 km .; the height of the walls oscillates between 40 and 80 m. on the level of the lake. It descends from the continental ice, causing in its slow progress detachments and outbursts, very attractive for the visitor. For its spectacular beauty it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When arriving at destination, we will make a walk along the catwalks from where we can admire this imposing Natural attraction from its different perspectives and through the different panoramic balconies. The estimated time on footbridges is 2 hours and a half.

      It is the most traditional tour of Bariloche, a captivating walk in which the city, forests, lakes and mountains are integrated into a single landscape. 

      > Duration: 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

      > Half Day (4 hours approximately) 

      > Route: around 65 km.

      The trip starts from Bariloche on Av. Bustillo bordering Lake Nahuel Huapi. At the height of km. 8 is Playa Bonita, appreciating from there Huemul Island, 10 km. Later on, after crossing different landscapes, we reach the foot of Cerro Campanario. From the base part a chairlift that ascends its visitors to 1500 m.s.n.m. At the top there is a confectionery and above it there is a terrace that allows one to admire one of the most complete and beautiful views of all the surroundings: the lakes Nahuel Huapi, and Perito Moreno. Laguna El Trebol. Peninsulas Llao Llao and San Pedro, Victoria Island. Cerros Otto, Lรณpez, Goye and Catedral and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche.

      Returning then the route is entered the Villa de Llao Llao, where is the Chapel San Eduardo, jewel of the regional architecture and the magnificent Llao Llao hotel, true symbol of the place and work of the great architect Alejandro Bustillo, that was inaugurated in the year 1939. On the lake you can see the important and picturesque Puerto Paรฑuelo.

      After bordering Lago Escondido, the road passes over the bridge of the Angostura stream, union of Moreno Lakes with Nahuel Huapi. Passing by Lรณpez Bay, at the foot of the homonymous hill, we reach Punto Panorรกmico at km. 40 to 945 m.s. where you can appreciate the majesty of the landscape that make up Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao peninsula.

      Bordering Lake Moreno, you reach the bridge that allows you to cross this lake and then go along the shore of the El Trรฉbol lagoon and in the km. 45 link with the initial journey and return to Bariloche.

      In the morning we leave for the penguin colony of the Punta Tombo Provincial Reserve. After a trip of an hour and a half by Patagonian routes, we arrive at the reserve. There we stay for not less than two and a half hours to be able to travel with enough time, both the trails of the Pingรผinera and the Punta Tombo Interpretation Center. Lunch is free on behalf of the passengers and we can make use of the facilities of the place. It has a Confectionery-Restaurant, bathrooms and trails to interpret Patagonian winds. In the afternoon we return to Puerto Madryn. In this excursion it is stipulated to pass through the Trelew airport on the way to or from Punta Tombo, if we had passengers doing Tombo with the admission or departure.       We will begin our tour through the center of the city where the most outstanding attractions are, Av. 9 de Julio, the Teatro Colรณn, the Obelisco, "the symbol of Buenos Aires"; Continue to Plaza de Mayo, then continue south of the city, passing through San Telmo, with its tanguerรญas, the neighborhood of La Boca and Caminito.

      We will continue through Puerto Madero, a renovated port in the city and an important gastronomic area.

      We will also visit the main green lung of the city, Palermo, with its parks and buildings and finally Recoleta, a neighborhood where culture and elegance coexist.
