After breakfast, we embark on our journey to the indigenous communities of the Tzotzil ethnic group. First, we arrive in Chamula, where we’ll have the chance to immerse ourselves in a world of unique traditions and culture. Learn about the fusion of contemporary traditions and ancient Mayan characteristics that make this place so special. Then, we head to Zinacantán, where you will visit the church and a family cooperative's home. There, you will be greeted with a regional drink and have the opportunity to see the women work the pre-Columbian waist loom. After viewing their handmade products, they will invite us into their kitchen where, with luck, we will have the chance to try their delicious handmade tortillas. At the end, we return to San Cristobal de Las Casas and explore on a city tour. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy this city rich in history and culture. We spend the night there.

Early in the morning, you'll set out for Palenque, making a stop at Agua Azul, a collection of waterfalls created by the currents of the Otulún, Shumuljá and Tulijá rivers, forming shallow canyons with vertical cliffs, where you can enjoy the different areas. Then, you'll proceed to the Misol-Ha falls, which with its 30 meters of height, and surrounded by high tropical jungle, make this a beautiful place. After finishing, you'll visit the Palenque archaeological site. This Mayan city stands out for its architectural and sculptural heritage; you can admire several buildings: The Palace, The Cross-Foliated Temple, The Temple of the Sun and others. We'll take you to the hotel in the city of Palenque. Accommodation.
