      Today is an important day as you will be doing the last check of your trekking gear with your trekking guide. If required, you can buy or rent some gear for the trek. Once youโ€™ve checked all your gear and documents, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful city of Kathmandu and its World Heritage Sites, temples, monasteries, and Durbar Square at your own pace.

      This morning guide will pick you up from your hotel.Then,you will head towards Gongabu New Bus Park to catch a bus to head on a road trip to Machhe-Khola. You will cross Gorkha bazar,headquarters of Gorkha District.Road from kathmandu to Arughat is black top and smooth where as afterward you will experience gravel and bumpy road

  • Day 4 Machhe-Khola To Jagat(1340M) 7 Hours

      After leaving Machhe Khola, your trek will take you through the villages of Khola Besi and Tatopani. At Tatopani, you will have the opportunity to take short break for warm showers. As you continue along the trail, you will come across a suspension bridge over the Budi Gandaki river that will lead you to Doban. After crossing the bridge and hiking upward, you will reach Jagat. Jagat is known for its beautiful scenery, including lush forests, terraced fields, and stunning mountain views. The village has a unique blend of cultures, with residents belonging to various ethnic groups such as Gurung, Magar, and Tamang. The village also has a small checkpoint where special trekking permits is checked as from here you enter into restricted zone.

      As you embark on your journey, your first stop will be Sirdibas, which requires a challenging climb. However, the beautiful views of the Sringi Himal as you ascend will make the effort worthwhile and leave you awestruck by the regionโ€™s natural beauty. Reaching Sirdibas will give you a sense of achievement and accomplishment. Continuing along the trail, you will descend towards the river and then climb up steeply to reach Phillim, a large village predominantly inhabited by the Gurung community. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique Buddhist culture of the region and experience the vibrant customs and traditions of the Gurung people. As you traverse through the picturesque Gata Khola, you will witness breathtaking views of the Ganesh Himal, which will leave you spellbound by the majestic mountains. As you make your way towards Deng, you will gradually get into the rhythm of the trek and the stunning scenery of the Manaslu region will have an enchanting effect on you.

      As one proceeds on the trek from Deng, they will be surrounded by the breathtaking Alpine region, offering picturesque views of the neighboring mountains. Along the way, they will come across Mani walls - traditional Buddhist structures crafted from engraved stones, serving as an indication that they are entering the Tibetan region. The trail will lead them through several villages, crossing the Budi Gandaki river until they eventually arrive at Namrung. This quaint village is nestled amidst the majestic Himalayan mountains, renowned for its hospitable locals and traditional Tibetan culture. While at Namrung, travelers can unwind and immerse themselves in the tranquil environment, marveling at the distinctive architecture and stunning natural landscapes. It is highly recommended to savor some of the delectable local cuisine and interact with the welcoming villagers.

      From Namrung, the trek heads towards the alpine region of Manaslu. The path leads through lush green forests, past mani walls, and typical Tibetan village of Sho before reaching Lho. En route to Lho, one can relish the breathtaking views of the Pungen Glacier and snow-capped peaks such as Peak 29 and Mount Manaslu. The Gompa in Lho is a prominent attraction, and witnessing the sunrise glow on Mount Manaslu is a mesmerizing sight.

      We embarked on an early trek from Lho village towards Samagaun. The route winds through lush forests and affords breathtaking views of Mt. Manaslu. We traversed the peaceful Shyala village, encircled by charming agricultural fields and quaint wooden rest areas to relax and take in the tranquil atmosphere. Samagaun, situated at the foothills of Manaslu peak, is the main village of the Nubri people. It features a large gompa, shops, health post, telephone and wifi access, and a heliport. Being the nearest village to Manaslu Base Camp, itโ€™s a favored stopover for trekkers.

  • Day 9 Rest Day For Acclimatization

      Rest Day For Acclimatization

      This day is crucial for acclimatizing to the increasing altitude and preparing for the upcoming challenges of the trek. Although itโ€™s a rest day, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the stunning surroundings of Sama Gaun. One can take a hike to Manaslu Base Camp or visit the Punggyen Gompa, immersing themselves in the regionโ€™s unique culture and traditions. Since you will already be at a higher altitude and ascending further, taking this acclimatization day seriously is crucial. Proper rest and acclimatization will enhance your readiness for the trekโ€™s upcoming challenges.

  • Day 10 Samagaun To Samdo(3875M)-3 Hours

This leg of the journey is relatively easy and provides ample opportunity to take in the natural beauty of the Manaslu region.

      The trail starts with a suspension bridge crossing over the Marshyangdi River, leading to a forest of rhododendron and pine trees. Youโ€™ll pass through small villages like Tilije and Thonje, interacting with the friendly locals and experiencing the unique culture of the region. The trek offers stunning views of the mountains, waterfalls, and landscapes as you follow the path along the river bank. Eventually, youโ€™ll reach Dharapani at 1,960 meters, where you can have lunch before taking a jeep to Besisahar.
