  • Day 1 Arrival In Kathmandu

      As you arrive at the airport, one of our friendly Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representatives will be waiting for you with a sign with your name. You will then be quickly dropped off at your hotel. Along the way, youโ€™ll see iconic landmarks such as the Open Cremation Place (Pashupatinath Temple), the Royal Palace Museum (Narayanhity), and the tranquil Garden of Dreams, all before arriving in Thamel.


      Your hotel, conveniently located in downtown, puts you right in the heart of the tourist district. Once settled, our representative will be available to answer any questions and go over your travel plans. Donโ€™t worry, youโ€™ll have plenty of time to explore Thamelโ€™s vibrant streets at your leisure.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing In Kathmandu

      Sightseeing In Kathmandu

      After breakfast, our friendly tour guide and driver will transport you in a comfortable vehicle. Weโ€™ll begin our journey by visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its intricately carved temples and historic buildings that provide a glimpse into ancient Kathmandu. Next, weโ€™ll travel to Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, to enjoy panoramic views of Kathmandu.


      Following that, we will go to Pashupatinath Temple, one of Southeast Asiaโ€™s most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. Youโ€™ll see the traditional Hindu cremation ceremony and explore the peaceful surroundings. We can also visit the nearby Guweyswori Temple, another important pilgrimage site. Our final stop will be at Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to 600 A.D. It is a unique Buddhist symbol that provides a peaceful setting for reflection. Following our sightseeing excursion, you can return to your hotel to unwind.

  • Day 3 Sightseeing In Patan And Bhaktapur

      Sightseeing In Patan And Bhaktapur

      Today, our guide will welcome you and drive you to Patan for sightseeing. In Patan, you will see other heritage sites such as Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later, we will visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about Patanโ€™s history and kings. We also visit the Golden Temple and the Banglamukhi Temple, which are popular among Hindus and Buddhists alike.

      Following that, we will visit Bhaktapur, where you will be amazed by the architecture. Observe the old, wood-carved buildings all over Bhaktapur. Explore the surroundings, including the Nyatapola Temple, Nepalโ€™s largest temple. You can also take a pottery-making class using traditional methods. You will visit Pottery Square. You will be taught how to design and decorate your pot with beautiful patterns and inscriptions.

  • Day 4 Drive From Kathmandu To Soti Khola Via Arughat (710M)

      Today, we will take a scenic drive to Soti Khola. Our journey will take us through Dhading Besi and the charming village of Arughat before arriving at our destination. Enjoy the beautiful countryside views along the way. Although the road may be bumpy, the experience will be worthwhile!

  • Day 5 Solti Khola To Maccha Khola (930M)

      The adventure begins as you cross the bridge, which takes you through the lush Sal forest. Following the path, you will cross the Budi Gandaki River and arrive in Khursane, where the journey continues on gentle slopes. On the way, observe two picturesque subtropical waterfalls before arriving at Labubesi, a charming Gurung village. After Labubesi, youโ€™ll cross another suspension bridge before arriving at the quaint Machha Khola Village.

  • Day 6 Machha Khola To Jagat (1410M)

      Machha Khola To Jagat (1410M)

      Your trekking route will present some challenges, including uphill sections and narrow trails. NULLtheless, the scenery is rewarding! You will pass through Tharo Khola and Khorla Besi before continuing past a relaxing hot spring. As you progress, youโ€™ll cross a suspension bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River and ascend beautifully crafted stone staircases. After that, thereโ€™s a descent to Tharo Bharyang before crossing another suspension bridge over the Yaru Khola. Follow the stone stairs until you reach Jagat, which marks the end of this leg of your journey.

  • Day 7 Jagat To Deng (1804M)

      Weโ€™ll kick off the trek with an exciting climb over a rocky ridge to Salleri, then enjoy a picturesque descent to Sirdibas. As you ascend to Ghatta Khola, you will notice the valley widening and providing more expansive views. After crossing a long suspension bridge at Philip, the trail continues north through millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. From there, youโ€™ll enter a steep gorge and descend to lush, grassy slopes near the Budhi Gandaki River. Trekking along the west bank, youโ€™ll pass through bamboo forests until you reach Deng Khola. After crossing the Khola, youโ€™ll arrive at the charming village of Deng.

  • Day 8 Deng To Namrung (2630M)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Deng To Namrung (2630M)

      After a short stroll past Deng, youโ€™ll cross the Budhi Gandaki River and make your way up to Rana village. From there, youโ€™ll ascend a bit to connect with a trail from Bhi, then head westward up the picturesque Budhi Gandaki valley. Along the way, youโ€™ll pass through lush forests and mani stones, eventually turning towards Ghap. Despite there being another route, weโ€™ll take you through Prok Village, which offers a stunning viewpoint of the Siringi Himal.


      As you continue, youโ€™ll cross the Budhi Gandaki once more and encounter a few gompas (monasteries) along the way. The trail meanders upstream through dense forests, offering picturesque views at every turn. After crossing the river at a breathtaking spot, it narrows into a gorge, and the forest thins out. Your enjoyable journey continues until you reach Namrung after a final steep climb.

  • Day 9 Namrung To Sama Gaon (3530M)

      Namrung To Sama Gaon (3530M)

      Namrung village provides breathtaking views of Siring and Ganesh Himal, with Mt. Himal Chuli visible to the south. After taking in the sights, youโ€™ll continue to climb until you reach Lihi, a picturesque village with chortens and barley terraces. The trail then descends, passing through the valleys of Simnang Himal and Ganesh Himal.


      Before arriving in Sama, you will pass through the villages of Sho, Lho, and Shyala. In Lho village, take in the breathtaking views of Mt. Manaslu and visit the famous Ribung Gompa. Shyala village provides panoramic views of Himal Chuli and Peak 29 (Ngadi Chuli) to the left, with Manaslu and expansive glaciers dominating the view straight ahead. To the right, youโ€™ll see more snow-capped peaks, including Ganesh Himal, in the distance. Your journey ends in Samagaon, where you will spend the night.

  • Day 10 Rest Day And Explore Manaslu Base Camp Or Birendra Lake

      Rest Day And Explore Manaslu Base Camp Or Birendra Lake

      Today, take a break and acclimate to Samagaon. Discover the vibrant Sherpa culture as you explore the area. Admire the thousands of mani stones inscribed with Buddhist scriptures and symbols. Witness Sherpa women dressed in traditional attire and jewelry, which adds to the cultural appeal.


      Donโ€™t miss the opportunity to visit the ancient Pungyen Gompa, which is nestled on a small hill near Sama village and provides breathtaking views of the glacier. Pungyen Gompa is named after Mount Manaslu, and its two peaks resemble bracelets. However, the monastery was destroyed after the first unsuccessful Japanese attempt to climb Manaslu. Locals believed it enraged the gods, but in 1959, success was realized.

  • Day 11 Sama Gaon To Samdo (3860M)

      To get to the Budhi Gandaki River, cross a bridge over a side stream and then follow the left path to the Manaslu Base Camp. As the valley widens, the Larkya La Trail will pass several mani walls. The trail is relatively easy, running along a shelf above the river and through Kermo Kharkaโ€™s juniper and birch forests.

      After crossing the Budhi Gandaki via a wooden bridge, you will face a steep trail ahead. Keep an eye out for a stone arch that will allow you to see a large white Kani. Once youโ€™ve passed through the Kani, you can rest at Samdo.

  • Day 12 Samdo To Dharmasala (4460M)

      Today will be another difficult day of walking for you. You will descend along the edge and cross a wooden bridge over the Budi-Gandaki River. After crossing two streams and seeing the Larkya Glacier, follow the path around the Salka Khola valley. Then youโ€™ll have the opportunity to ascend to the stone guest house (4450m), also known as Dharmshala or Larke Phedi. Although it is not a typical lodge, it provides shelter. This shorter trek today allows plenty of time for acclimatization and relaxation.

  • Day 13 Dharmasala To Bimthang Via Larke Pass (5160M)

      Dharmasala To Bimthang Via Larke Pass (5160M)

      After a brief ascent, youโ€™ll arrive in a valley on the north side of the Larkya Glaciers, with breathtaking views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. As you continue, you will travel through the glacierโ€™s moraines, gradually ascending. The terrain only becomes steeper near the end of the pass. From there, you will be treated to breathtaking views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and Annapurna II. Although the journey to Bimtang is long, strolling through these lush pastures with Mt. Manaslu towering nearby is an unforgettable experience.

  • Day 14 Bimthang To Dharapani

      Bimthang To Dharapani

      Today will be a challenging day. Weโ€™ll begin by descending to cross a high pasture called Sangure Kharka, then cross a bridge over Dudh Khola. Weโ€™ll walk through the rhododendron forest and follow a trail through a narrow valley. Our journey will take us to the highest cultivated land in the valley, Karcher, which stands at 2785 meters. Weโ€™ll cross the fields before attempting a steep climb up a ridge. After a short stroll, weโ€™ll reach Gho, and then weโ€™ll continue on to Dharapani.

  • Day 15 Drive From Dharapani To Kathmandu

      Drive From Dharapani To Kathmandu

      After breakfast, you will return to Kathmandu via Besisahar. The drive along the Trishuli River on the Prithvi Highway will be scenic. The road winds gently along the river, providing breathtaking views of rice fields, terraced farms, and flowing rivers below. As you ascend through lush green hills and quaint villages, you will gradually return to Kathmandu.
