      Our friendly tour guide will pick you up in a comfortable private vehicle to begin your day of adventure. First, weโ€™ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kathmandu Durbar Square, where youโ€™ll be amazed by the intricate wood-carved temples and historic buildings that reflect ancient Kathmanduโ€™s rich heritage.


      Next, weโ€™ll visit Swyambhunath, also known as the monkey temple, where you can witness the peaceful coexistence of Buddhism and Hinduism while admiring the breathtaking panoramic views of Kathmandu and the majestic Himalayas.


      Then weโ€™ll go to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a major pilgrimage site for Hindus in Southeast Asia. Youโ€™ll see a fascinating ritual body cremation ceremony along the banks of the holy Bagmati River and immerse yourself in the lively local culture.


      Our journey continues to the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO site that dates back to 600 A.D. This unique stupa is a Buddhist symbol and provides a peaceful setting for reflection. After exploring the peaceful surroundings of Boudhanath, weโ€™ll return to your hotel for some much-needed rest.

      Todayโ€™s trekking adventure begins at 4:00 a.m. Your journey begins with a thrilling ascent through Throung-La, the worldโ€™s largest pass at 5,416 meters (17,764 feet). As you summit this peak, take in the breathtaking views of the majestic Dhaulagiri Massif to the west.


      Descending from the pass, youโ€™ll pass through the charming village of Chirabu, nestled at the base of the mountains, before arriving at the sacred site of Muktinath. Prepare for a difficult descent down a rugged trail, 1,600 meters to the vibrant town of Muktinath.


      Muktinath has deep religious significance, serving as a sacred pilgrimage site for both Buddhists and Hindus. Here, youโ€™ll meet Tibetan traders and revered Sadhus, adding to the areaโ€™s rich cultural tapestry. Donโ€™t miss the opportunity to see the rock piles left behind by visitors, which represent prayers for blessings and good fortune in their future lives.

From there, take in the stunning views of the Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri mountains.


      After that, weโ€™ll embark on a scenic trek to Kagbeni. The trail is mostly downhill and easy, passing through picturesque Tibetan-style villages along the way. Kagbeni, located in the Lower Mustang region, awaits with a rich cultural tapestry. Take your time exploring the monastery and village, interacting with locals, and immersing yourself in the true local culture. Later, we will travel to Jomsom to catch your flight to Pokhara the following morning.

      After settling in, youโ€™ll have the entire day to explore Pokhara. Take a leisurely stroll around the lakeside area to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and picturesque surroundings. Donโ€™t miss out on the opportunity to go boating on Phewa Lake, where the reflections of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri Mountains create a breathtaking sight on the calm waters.

Next, weโ€™ll go to the Seti Gandaki River, which runs through Pokhara. The riverโ€™s milky color, which adds to its charm, is caused by limestone in the soil. Donโ€™t miss the unique locations where the Seti Gandaki flows underground! Youโ€™ll also have the opportunity to visit Tibetan settlements nearby, which sell exquisite handicrafts and traditional Tibetan carpets. And that is not all!
