      Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, a representative from Relax Getaways will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Later in the day, we will hold a pre-trip meeting at your hotel where your tour and trekking guide will be introduced. This is a chance for you to ask any questions about the upcoming trip and receive a final briefing. If you are unable to attend due to a late arrival, kindly notify us in advance.

      You will embark on your trekking journey towards Manjo after a scenic 30-minute flight from Kathmandu Airport to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla, situated at an altitude of 2,804 meters/9,199 feet. Your guide will provide a briefing and introduce your porters upon arrival at the airport. The journey will start early in the morning


      Upon arrival at Lukla airport, you will have the opportunity to explore the village while the Sherpa crew handles the sorting and loading of the trekking equipment. Following this, the trek commences with a descent towards the Dudh Kosi River, where you will join the primary trail to Namche Bazaar, situated just above Chaunrikharka at an altitude of 2,713 meters/8,900 feet. The initial walk is gentle, and after passing through the small village of Ghat, you will have a brief stroll to reach Phakding, followed by Manjo.

      Following breakfast, your trekking adventure will begin, and you will proceed to walk alongside the Dudh Kosi river, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail will take you through Sagarmatha National Park, and as you ascend, you will be rewarded with stunning views. Namche Bazaar, also known as the Gateway to Everest, will be your destination for the day. This bustling village offers an array of amenities, including excellent restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchange services, internet cafes, and a bakery. Namche is one of the largest villages along the entire Everest trail.

      The trek proceeds alongside the Dudh Kosiโ€™s raging glacial waters while offering breathtaking mountain views. At 3,930 meters (12,893 feet), the trek will come to a conclusion. The neighborhood abbey is visible once you arrive in Tengboche. The 20-foot-tall Buddha sculpture, the Lamasโ€™ musical gear, and the wall hangings and robes are all found inside the abbey. From Tengboche, the path descends to Debuche, traverses another thrilling suspension bridge over the Imja Khola, and then ascends to the village of Pangboche.

      The journey continues as it leads to Dingboche, a charming traditional Sherpa hamlet with stunning views of Ama Dablam, Island Peak, and Lhotse. Rest occasionally to prevent being impacted by the altitude. Stay the night in Dingboche.

      After breakfast, the day begins with a steady ascent to Duglha, which is at the end of the Khumbuโ€™s terminal moraine. From here, you will ascend a steep path to Chupki Lhara, where you will find a number of prayer flag-adorned stones used as memorials to American mountaineer Scott Fischer and Nepali mountain guide Babu Chiri Sherpa, both of whom died while attempting to ascend Everest. We then travel to the Khumbu moraine where we come face to face with the Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal summits. The path then becomes more leisurely as you continue along the valley to Lobuche.

      The path will lead you to Everest Base Camp. Continue straight ahead over the monuments to the Indian army mountaineers. Because the route from here can be deceptive, itโ€™s crucial to carefully follow your lead Sherpa/Guide. Due to the thin air at the high altitude, the trek is difficult. Before arriving at the Everest Base Camp, you will have to cross rocky dunes, moraines, and waterways. When you arrive at the Everest Base Camp, youโ€™ll notice mountaineersโ€™ colorful tents standing out against the monotony of their drab surroundings. (especially in the spring). From base camp, you can see the summits Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori. Youโ€™ll take a helicopter back to Lukla to return.

      Today marks the conclusion of our journey. We will leave for the most remote airport, which is close to our hotel, as we have early breakfast in Lukla. Weโ€™ll get ready and check out of the hotel in accordance with our flight schedule. Your final day in the mountains will be happier if you take in the final view of mountains and large slopes from your window. Enjoy the 35-minute scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu before being dropped off at your accommodation by our guide. You are free to explore on your own the remainder of the time.
