  • Day 1 Kathmandu โ€“ Lukla (2,642M/8,668Ft) โ€“ Phakding (2,562M /8,700Ft)

      Kathmandu โ€“ Lukla (2,642M/8,668Ft) โ€“ Phakding (2,562M /8,700Ft)

      Weโ€™ll transfer to the domestic airport for our scenic 35-minute flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Itโ€™ll be an amazing flight, as weโ€™ll be able to see some of the majestic views of the Himalayas. After landing at Lukla, weโ€™ll begin our trek to Phakding.


      Our trail then follows the side of the Dudhkoshi River and we continue our trek as we walk along the sides of the river. Throughout our trek, weโ€™ll be crossing several suspension bridges. On the way, weโ€™ll be able to get magnificent views of several mountains. Overnight in Phakding.


      Note: During the peak season, flights to Lukla operate from Manthali Airport, which is a 4-hour drive from Kathmandu. We will take care of all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and comfortable transfer for you.

  • Day 2 Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3,440M/11,280Ft)

      Today, we will move from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, which is one of the biggest and most popular towns in the Everest region. As we continue trekking up along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, our trail passes a waterfall and various forests of rhododendrons and giant fir trees.


      Then, we reach Sagarmatha National Park after passing Chumoa and Monjo villages. We go through some formalities in Sagarmatha National Park to preserve the delicate mountain environment. We then reach our destination, Namche Bazaar, as we climb upward on a hilly trail. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 3 Namche Bazar: Acclimatization And Exploration

      Namche Bazar: Acclimatization And Exploration

      This will be our rest day after trekking for a few days continuously. It is recommended to take a rest after trekking so today will be our acclimatization in Namche Bazar. 


      Today we wonโ€™t be making any progress toward our destination but instead, weโ€™ll be exploring other various places in Namche, such as Hotel Everest View, and Khumjung Village. We can trek around the area to adjust ourselves to the environment. Overnight in Namche Bazar.

  • Day 4 Namche Bazaar โ€“ Tengboche (3,870M/12,694Ft)

      Our uphill trek continues today as we move toward Tengboche from Namche Bazaar. On our way to Tengboche, we get to see the first view of Ama Dablam, Lhotse Shar, Taboche, Kangtega, and Thamserku.


      Upon reaching Tengboche, we can see the famous Buddhist monastery which is known as the biggest monastery, in the Everest region. Tengboche is also known as one of the most beautiful places in the Everest region. Overnight in Tengboche.

  • Day 5 Tengboche โ€“ Dingboche (4,360M/14,300Ft)

      Today we continue our trek and move toward Dingboche. Our trail drops and passes through several abundant forests of rhododendron trees. Following the path,, we reach Pangboche where a religious place "Pangboche Gompa" exists.


      On our way, we can enjoy views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We continue our walk to the beautiful Ijma Valley and Lobuche River before reaching Dingboche. Overnight in Dingboche.

      Today, we continue our journey as we head toward Lobuche. As we continue our trail today, we begin to see Mt. Pumori. Then, we descend, move forward, and bid goodbye to Mt. Pumori. Before reaching Lobuche, we cross a stream and enter Dulgha, which is a small, beautiful valley. 


      Then, we continue our trail along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The top of the ridge is filled with prayer flags and stones, which are memorial shrines for climbers who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. We continue our journey as we climb forward and reach the village of Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche.

      Today will be the most rewarding day for you as we get closer to our destination, Everest Base Camp. We walk along the Khumbu glacier and up to the Everest base camp at 5364 m. 


      As youโ€™ve expected, Everest Base Camp will be one of the most beautiful places that youโ€™ll be able to encounter in your lifetime. We can also enjoy amazing views of the Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori mountains from the base camp. Weโ€™ll return to Gorak Shep to spend a night there after having a long, tiring yet beautiful day.

  • Day 8 Gorak Shep โ€“ Kala Patthar (5,545M/18,192Ft) โ€“ Pheriche (4,280M/14,070Ft)

      Today, we will start our journey to Kala Patthar early in the morning, before dawn, to catch the first sunrise over the top of the world. On our way, we will witness the majestic Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse mountains.


      From Kala Patthar, we will enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Everest, surrounded by other stunning peaks such as Mount Pumori, Mount Lingtren, Mount Khumbutse, Mount Nuptse, Mount Lhotse, Mount Ama Dablam, Mount Thamserku, and many more.


      After spending some time amidst the beautiful Himalayas, we will head back to Gorak Shep. From there, we will descend to Pheriche to spend a comfortable and warmer night. Overnight stay in Pheriche.

      Today, we will descend towards Namche Bazaar on a trail with many ups and downs. Weโ€™ll bid farewell to the Himalayas as our path takes us through Pangboche and Tengboche before reaching Namche Bazaar.


      As we make our way down, the trail descends steeply towards Pungki Thanka, and we pass through another forest before arriving at Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

      This is the final day of our trek as we descend to Lukla, the starting point of our journey. Todayโ€™s trek is mostly downhill, passing by several monasteries and villages. Upon reaching Lukla, weโ€™ll freshen up and rest, or take some time to explore the area. Overnight stay in Lukla.

  • Day 11 Lukla โ€“ Kathmandu (1,300M/4,264Ft), 35 Min Flight

      After an exhilarating journey to the mountains and reaching the base camp of the worldโ€™s tallest mountain, today we will head back to Kathmandu. Weโ€™ll catch an early morning flight, which takes around 30-35 minutes.


      Once in Kathmandu, you can rest, go shopping, or explore other areas of the city. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner organized by Himalayan Recreation Treks. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
