Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap.   • Day 1 Day 1: Fly To Lukla And Trek To Phakding (2610M) 5-6 Hours.

      We will pick you up from your hotels and then drive to the airport for a short 25 โ€“ 30 minute flight to Lukla (2,840m), the gateway to the Khumbu region and the starting point of our trek to EBC. The trail from Phakding follows the Dudh Koshi River Valley through Cheplung and Chaurikharka before coming to Phakding for our overnight stay.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Trek To Namche Bazar (3,440M) 5-6 Hours.

      This morning on the trail we will initially have a steep climb that follows the roaring Dudh Koshi River and then crosses several suspension bridges. We will pass through the villages of Monjo and Jorsale before arriving at Namche Bazaar (3,440m), a mountain village and bustling commercial centre in the Khumbu region.

      Namche Bazaar is the ideal place to acclimatize - according to health specialists who strongly suggest we spend the day being active rather than idly sitting around. From Namche, we will take a short hike to Everest View Resort, Thame, visiting Khunde or rest and explore this fascinating town. Namche Bazaar has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery, and a lively market each Friday evening and Saturday. Even a very short walk of a few hundred meters will help us to properly acclimatize. We will also visit the Tourist Visitor Center nearby to the headquarters of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of relics associated with the first mountaineers to climb Everest, Sherpa culture and also learn about the diverse plant and animal life in this region. 

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek To Tengboche (3,855M/12,850Ft) 5-6 Hours.

      We begin the day by climbing to higher altitudes and then follow a flat trail to reach Kyanjoma. We then head downhill until we come to Phunki Tenga and then cross the Dudh Koshi River before coming to Tengboche Monastery, the most important monastery in the region. If all goes well and the weather is suitable we may continue on to Debouche (3800m) for the night.

      Today we make a rapid descent to Debouche and then climb higher to Pangboche. On the trail we have some grand views of Mt. Everest, Amadablam and Nuptse. We will take a short tea-break at Pangboche before heading to Somare for our lunch break. We will then follow the trail through the Imja Valley and cross the Lobuche River before ascending to Dingboche (4,410m).

  • Day 6 Day 6: Rest And Acclimatization Day At Dingboche.

      Dingboche is a stunning town surrounded by fields and pastures and bordered by stone walls. Today is set aside for further acclimatization which requires staying active to facilitate the process. We can also take a short trek up to Nangkartshang Peak or trek through the Chhukung Valley in order to stay active.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek To Lobuche (4,930M/16,175 Ft) 5-6 Hours.

      This is going to be one of the toughest days of the trek as we ascend to Dughla where we will stop for a lunch break before continuing on toward Lobuche. From Dughla we have a steep ascent and along the trail pass the memorial of famous mountaineers, Scott Fischer and Babu Chiri Sherpa. We then enter the vicinity of the Khumbu Glacier and follow the trail to Lobuche (4,910m).

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek To Everest Base Camp And Back (5,364M/17,598Ft) To Gorak Shep (5,185M/17,010 Ft) 6-8 Hours.

      On the first leg of this trek today from Gorak Shep we go via the Khumbu Glacier. We will stop for lunch at Gorak Shep before continuing on to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). The trail passes through a jagged and rocky terrain, across moraines, streams and a maybe a challenging day before we arrive at Everest Base Camp that is located in the middle of the Khumbu Glacier. We will then return to Gorak Shep. If the weather is good and you have the energy we will trek up to Kala Patthar later in the day to enjoy the sunset, claimed by many to be one of the most spectacular vantage points of Mt. Everest.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Early In The Morning Hike Up To Kala Patthar(5,555M/18,208Ft) And Trek To Gorak Shep To Pheriche (4,250M/13,945Ft) 5-6 Hours.

      If we didnโ€™t make it to Kala Patthar yesterday, then we can do so today. It is a well-known viewpoint located above Gorak Shep with superb mountain views โ€“ especially in the morning at sunrise. We will spend some time here before heading back to Gorak Shep for breakfast. We then descend to Pangboche from where we can watch the sunset over Mt. Amadablam โ€“ a great way to end another wonderful day in the mountains.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Trek To Namche Bazaar (3,440M/11,285 Ft) 6-7 Hours.

      We keep on descending to the Dudh Kosi River and then have a steep climb to Kyanjoma at which point the trail levels out and then downhill until we arrive back at Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Trek To Lukla 2,850M/9,350 Ft) 6-7 Hours.

      We have a long day ahead of us on the trail - but fortunately it is mostly downhill. We will follow the trail along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River until we come to Phakding where we will stop for lunch. From Phakding the trail gradually climbs until we arrive at Lukla.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Fly Back To Kathmandu (1,350M) 35 Minutes.

      We will take an early morning flight, to avoid strong winds that develop later in the day, back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, we will take you back to your hotel.
