      Starting early morning from Kathmandu main bus park where drive leads you past Kathmandu valley towards east, heading towards Jiri on ups and down road past villages and towns to reach at Jiri also known as Switzerland of Nepal.


      After a brief stop drive continues heading further eastward on rough tracks with slow uphill and downhill to reach a nice river valley, where Shivalaya village situated for overnight stops.

      From Shivalaya walk leads towards another lovely village via Gaurishankar Conservation area to Bhandar within Ramachap district, as route leads to steep climb reaching at Deurali a small hill top then long descend to reach at Bhandar within a beautiful valley for overnight stop.

      Morning starts with downhill through farm areas passing farm villages to reach at Kenja village a nice moderate size village, situated in a warm valley just beneath the high hills of Lamjura and Pikey danda, offering views of Numbur peaks. After Kenja, a steep uphill climb all the way to overnight stop at Sete village from here onwards the temperature gets cooler.

      Starting with cool morning walk towards Lamjura-la pass with steep climb into forest of rhododendron, pines and oaks trees then through many small farm lands and hamlets, after few hours of climb reaching on top of Lamjura pass marked by a big stupa with few lodges, from the top descend leads through forest all the way to Sherpa village at Toctoc.


      After a short stop continue walk on winding path to Junbesi, and then downhill to Junbesi, a lovely large Sherpa village with an interesting monastery and a high school funded by Hillary Trust.

      A free day for hike north of Junbesi village to reach and visit at 

      Thupten Choling Monastery a walk of 3 to4 hours towards a Buddhist nunnery and monastery of Thupten Choling, from Junbesi walk on nice maintain trail heading away from main Jiri to Everest path, as route leads on least traveled region where trekkers often visits, as walk progress enjoy surrounding views of landscapes with Numbur peaks, slowly walk enters monastery premises at Thupten Choling.


      Afternoon relax and visit the monastery and the nunnery of great interest and importance to Buddhism followers, and walk back to Junbesi.

      After a pleasant stop at Junbesi, morning walk leads to a winding path with glimpse of Mt. Everest and other snowcapped peaks, and then down towards a river to cross over the bridge, a short climb brings you at a nice Ringmo village, stopping here for lunch after a refreshing stop, and then climb into forested areas to reach at Trakshindo pass at 3,070m high, marked with mani and Chorten facing views of Numbur, Kusum Kangguru, Thamersarkhu and Kantega peaks.


      From here downhill to Nunthala past Takshindo village with an old monastery, continue descend to reach a farmland on the outskirt of the village, a short walk from the bottom of the hill brings you at large Nuntahla village also called Manidingma, a village of Rai and Sherpa people.

      As air gets cooler as our walk leads close within Khumbu area, on leaving Solu region, morning begins with downhill into forest towards Dudh Kosi River, after crossing a bridge over Dudh Kosi River then on winding uphill to Jubing village.


      After Jubing an hour climb to Khari-khola a large village of Sherpa and Magar tribes, after a short break up hill with steep climb for an hour to overnight stop at Bupsa, a small village perched on a ridge with superb views of rolling hills and valleys.

      From Bupsa a slow and steady walk leads to high Khumbu area where temperature drops with cooler air walk continues through mixed alpine forest.


      Crossing over Kharte Dande Pass at 3,880 m high, where walk leads high above Dudh Kosi River and then reach at Puiyan (Paya) village, a nice place in the midst of forest.


      From Puiyan having lunch walk on winding trail with views of Lukla town and its airstrip, then descends to Surkhe village for overnight stop within Khumbu area.

      Morning walk on pleasant trail heading close to Lukla at Choplung village where trail from Lukla and Jiri meets, from here to Phakding for overnight stop, as walk leads past few villages and farm lands with grand views of hills and valleys then finally reaching at Phakding village by the Dudh Kosi (river) for overnight stop.

      Morning walk begins with few ups following Dudh Kosi River most of the way and crossing the same river several time to reach at Monjo a nice village with views of Thermasarkhu peak and Mt. Khumbi-la (patron god of Khumbu Sherpa).


      From Monjo starts Sagarmatha National Park where trekking and park permits are checked here, after a brief moment continue walk crossing over Dudh Kosi to Jorsalle village for lunch, the last village till Namche.


       From here walks on river bed for a while and then with climb to reach famous Namche Bazaar for overnight stop, where you can find wide-range of facilities with excellent lodges, hotels, pubs, restaurants, fresh bakeries, cyber cafรฉ, health post, post office and banks.

      A necessary rest day for acclimatization having two nights at same altitude, at Namche can take a short hike for grand view of 

      Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, Tharmarserku, Kwangde and Amadablam peaks, visit the museum with information of the Khumbu area, afternoon at leisure or walk around the bazaar with nice shops and stores, Namche is flooded with locals and trekkers on Saturday colorful market.

      From Namche on gradual scenic path with downhill to Imjatse river at Phunge-Tenga for lunch, and then uphill through rhododendron, pines, firs tree forest with views of snowcapped peaks.


      On reaching at Tengboche enjoy magnificent panorama with 

      Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kangtenga, Thamasarku, Kwande and majestic Amadablam. Here visit the monastery observe monks and priest on evening prayer.

      Morning downhill walk for few hours over Imjatse River, after the bridge walk on an open country where tree lines fades for few short juniper and  dwarf rhododendron bushes, uphill for a while to reach at Pangboche village at 3,900 meters. Last permanent village before Dingboche and beyond, from here a slow climb to Somara for lunch and continue walk with climb to Dingboche village for overnight stop, located in Imjatse valley with panorama of mountains.

      After a pleasant overnight stop in Dingboche morning walk with climb for an hour facing excellent views of peaks, and then on gentle trail to Thugla for lunch where Khumbu glacier melts into a raging river, here trail from Pheriche and Dingboche joins.


      After a break and then heading for a steep climb for an hour to Thugla pass, a place with stone memorials of unfortunate climbers died climbing on Mt. Everest, Lhotse or other high mountains, and then on nice path to Lobuche for overnight stop.

      Today reach the highlight of the adventure at Everest Base Camp, walk for few hours with short steep climb in between over glacier and moraine, reaching at Gorakshep, beneath lofty peak of Pumori and Kalapathar.


      Walk continues towards Everest Base Camp, at base camp enjoy the view of notorious Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers, after a grand time with experience of a lifetime adventure at base camp retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for overnight halt.

Everest at mere distance, after a great scenic moment descend to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue walk to Thugla, then downhill to Pheriche around windy valley with nice scenic walk to reach at Pheriche for overnight stop.

      Return journey much easier on loosing heights every hour of walks with much downhill with few short ups to Pangboche and then to the bridge with two 2 hours climb to Tengboche for short refreshing break.


      After Tengboche descend to Imjatse River, and then climb for an hour to Sanasa, from here on gradual path with short ups and downs to Namche Bazaar for overnight stop with rest of the afternoon free to enjoy time around Namche Bazaar.

      Today a long walk enjoy trekking of this great adventure and last day towards Lukla, as walk heads downhill at Dudh Kosi River to reach at Monjo past Sagarmatha National Park entrance, from here a pleasant walk to Phakding and then retrace the journey back to Lukla with a last climb, on reaching Lukla celebrate last night dinner with fellow trekkers and staff.

      Morning as flight time for Kathmandu transfer to Lukla airport named as Tenzing-Hillary airport (tribute to legendry climbers who conquered first on Mt. Everest in May 29th 1953).


      After boarding on a small aircraft leads you high facing sweeping panorama of Himalayan peaks with Everest till it lands Kathmandu domestic airport and then transfer to your hotels with time in the afternoon for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.
