      Today, you must drive to Machha Khola from Kathmandu on the hillside roads. The first part of the road, around a hundred and thirty kilometers, is pitch. Still, the final 3-4 hours drive to Machhakhola is a bumpy, rough road. While driving through numerous traditional villages today, you see magnificent views of green hills, white mountains, rice fields, rivers, valleys, waterfalls, and more. Overnight in Machha Khola.

      Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat is a long day. You start walking around 8:00 am after breakfast. You see a natural hot spring. The trail today gradually ascends to Jagat. You stop in Dovan for lunch after walking around three hours from Machha Khola and trek to Jagat. Overnight in Jagat.

      Today, you walk to Deng from Jagat, another long walking day. You start the day by walking on a flat part for about an hour and then ascend for half an hour to Philim. After Philim, you have a flat and gradual ascending trail to Eklebhatti again. Cross a suspension bridge and then climb for about twenty minutes to Nyak Phedi. From here, you enter the forest and cross several bridges before you reach Pewa. You have another 45-minute walk from Pewa to Deng and stay overnight here.

      After breakfast in the guesthouse, you trek to Namrung today, which takes 6-7 hours. You initially cross a bridge and climb towards Bhi Phedi for an hour.  You reach Ghap for lunch and walk on an ascending trail inside the forest to Namrung. Overnight in Namrung.

      Today is a short walking day. You begin your day after breakfast in the guesthouse and then walk on a gradually ascending trail for about half an hour. Then, you walk to Lhi Village and then to Lho. You reach Lho Gaun for lunch, then walk around the village and visit a monastery in the afternoon. Overnight in Lho.

      You start your day with a descending trail for around 15 minutes and ascend through the pine forest to Shyala Village. Shyala is among the best spots to see Mt. Manaslu and Ngadi Chuli. After enjoying the view of these massive mountains, you walk to Samagaun for two more hours and stay overnight in Samagaun.

      It is your rest day for altitude practice today. You can hike to Birendra Lake for exploration towards the Manaslu Base Camp and visit a monastery in Samagaun. Alternatively, you can hike to Pungen Gumba if you are interested today and overnight in Samagaun.

      After breakfast in the lodge, you start walking towards Samdo, enjoying magnificent mountain views. You also see marmots and blue sheep while walking to Samdo. It is a short walking day of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Overnight in Samdo.

      You start the day with a gradual descent in the morning after breakfast. You see a trail to Tibet after crossing a small stream to the right, but you take it to the left and towards Larke Phedi (Dharmashala) on the ascending trail. You will always walk in an open area to see views of white mountains while walking to Dharmashala from Samdo. Overnight in Larke Phedi.

      Today is the most adventurous day of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. You start walking early in the morning with a flashlight to cross Larke La Pass. It takes around three hours to reach the top of Larke Pass from Dharmashala and then another 4-5 hours to Bhimthang. You see fantastic mountain views while descending to Bhimtang. Overnight in Bhimtang.

      Today, you have a whole day descending to Dharapani. It takes around 6-7 hours to reach Dharapani from Bhimtang. You pass the Surki, Goa, and Tilje Villages before you reach Dharapani. Once you arrive in Dharapani, you meet the main trail of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Overnight in Dharapani.

  • Day 12 Drive Back To Kathmandu

      After breakfast in the lodge, you drive on the rough road for four hours to Besisahar. You will change another public van to Kathmandu for 6-7 hours after lunch in Besisahar.
