  • Day 2 Drive To Shivalaya (1790 M)

      After enjoying breakfast, we will begin our journey towards Shivalaya, the entry point for the Numbur Cheese Circuit Trek. Shivalaya is nestled alongside the picturesque Khimti River. The drive to Shivalaya offers a breathtaking 9-hour adventure, allowing you to soak in the stunning vistas of hills, villages, and mountains. Once we reach our destination, we will settle in for the night in Shivalaya.

  • Day 3 Trek To Panipakha (3105 M)

      Trek To Panipakha (3105 M)

      On the first day of our trek, we will set out for Khahare, a charming village with only a handful of houses. As we trek through this picturesque landscape, crossing river streams and taking in the natural beauty, we will reach Khahare after approximately 4 hours of hiking from Shivalaya.


      After reaching Shivalaya, we will continue our journey towards Panipakha, our first camping site on this trek. During the trek, we will be treated to breathtaking natural landscapes and catch glimpses of the below Khimti River. After a delightful 4-hour walk, we will reach Panipakha, 

      We will set up camp and spend the night.

  • Day 4 Trek To Manedanda (3940 M)

      Trek To Manedanda (3940 M)

      Today, our trek leads us to Manedanda, an approximately 3-hour hike from our campsite. En route, we will traverse a small Sherpa settlement called Phokte and go through a beautiful Rhododendron forest. Eventually, we will reach Manedanda, where we will set up our camp for the night. This location is chosen for its suitability for camping, providing a tranquil natural setting and stunning scenic surroundings.

  • Day 5 Trek To Panch Pokhari (4515 M)

      Trek To Panch Pokhari (4515 M)

      On this particular day, our trek will lead us to Panch Pokhari, which translates to "five lakes." This location holds great religious significance, attracting numerous Hindu pilgrims who come here for worship. During our journey, we will also visit Jata Pokhari, a renowned pilgrimage site in the Ramechhap district, nestled beneath the towering Mount Numburchuli. Following that, we will take a short side trip to Baula Pokhari, a lake believed to have wish-fulfilling properties. After a brief walk from Baula Pokhari, we will finally reach our destination, Panch Pokhari, where we will set up our camp.

  • Day 6 Trek To Tare (4140 M)

      Following breakfast, we will descend to Tare. This descent from Panch Pokhari typically takes about 5 hours. Along the way, we can savor fresh Yak cheese and witness the cheese-making process. Upon reaching Tare, we will be treated to stunning mountain views.

  • Day 7 Trek To Ngeju (3690 M)

      We set out for our next destination in the early morning, Ngeju. Our route takes us through Gyajo La, also called Thulo Lapcha, and the Likhu Glaciers before we reach our destination. The descent will take approximately 4 hours, and once we arrive, we will take a day of rest;

  • Day 8 Trek To Lhachhewar (2665 M)

      Trek To Lhachhewar (2665 M)

      In the early morning, following breakfast, we embark on our journey towards Lhachhewar, also known as Sewar. Sherpa communities primarily inhabit this village, and upon our arrival, we can look forward to a warm welcome from the locals. After a 4-hour trek from Ngeju, we will reach Lhachhewar, where weโ€™ll have the opportunity to observe and immerse ourselves in the traditional lifestyle and culture of the Sherpa ethnic group.

  • Day 9 Trek To Gumdel (2255 M)

      Trek To Gumdel (2255 M)

      We start our trek from Lhachhewar and go to Numburchuli before returning to Gumdel. Gumdel is well-known for its homestay opportunities, primarily because the Sherpa community predominantly inhabits it. We will reach Gumdel after a 2-hour hike from Kyama. Upon arrival, we can anticipate a warm and traditional Sherpa welcome, allowing us to immerse ourselves in their culture and customs.

  • Day 10 Trek To Serding (3360 M)

      Trek To Serding (3360 M)

      Following breakfast in Gumdel, we will continue our journey towards Serding. This leg of the trek will take us through dense forests, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. We will arrive at our destination after approximately 4 hours of trekking from Gumdel. Moreover, in this area, weโ€™ll have the opportunity to witness the cheese-making process and even savor its taste.

  • Day 11 Trek To Lapchane (3150 M)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Trek To Lapchane (3150 M)

      After having breakfast, we will proceed towards Lapchane. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to visit the Thodung Monastery. As we descend along the trail, we will be treated to mountain views, including the majestic Gauri Shankar. It will take approximately 5 hours of walking from Derding to reach Lapchane.

      Lapchane is a Newari community settlement where you can relish Newari cuisine and immerse yourself in their traditions and way of life. Upon our arrival, we will also embark on a hike to Tamdanda, which happens to be the tallest hill in Ramechhap. From Tamdanda, we can enjoy spectacular views of various mountain peaks, including Dhaulagiri, Gauri Shankar, Annapurna, Numbur, Kanchenjunga, and many others.

  • Day 12 Trek To Jiri (1935 M)

      This day marks the final leg of our trek on this journey as we descend to Jiri. Upon our arrival in Jiri, we will take a well-deserved rest and spend the night there.

  • Day 13 Drive To Kathmandu

      Drive To Kathmandu

      Following breakfast in Jiri, we will return to the Kathmandu Valley. The drive from Jiri back to Kathmandu typically takes 8 to 9 hours.

      Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be promptly transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and rest.

  • Day 14 Departure

      Depending on your flight schedule, our representative will be at your hotel to escort you to the airport. Please note that itโ€™s advisable to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flightโ€™s departure

      This day is our last day trek on this trip as we trek down to Jiri, where we will spend take a rest and spend overnight here.

  • Day 16 Drive To Kathmandu

      After breakfast at Jiri, we will come back to the Kathmandu valley. After an 8 to 9 hoursโ€™ drive from the Jiri, we finally reach Kathmandu. After you reach Kathmandu, you will be directly transferred to the Hotel to take a rest.
