You will be accommodated in Hotel Thamel Park or a similar hotel in Kathmandu. These hotels typically offer comfortable rooms with attached washrooms, and you will have the convenience of modern amenities. If you prefer a single room during your trek or in Kathmandu, a single supplement of USD 200 can be arranged upon request.       After the sunrise moment, we descend the Imja River and follow a trail to the high-altitude Sherpa village of Dingboche. We follow a scenic path full of mountain views and picturesque landscapes to Pangboche village. At an elevation of 3900 meters, the village is at a scenic location with appealing pictures of mountains in the backdrop. We keep walking to Dingbocheโ€™s hamlets, enjoying the views of gigantic mountains such as Everest, Mt Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, etc. Mani walls, prayer flags, prayer wheels, agriculture fields, and settlements of yak herders guard the trails to Dingboche.


      Dingboche is referred to as Summer Valley. As you reach the vast pasture, you will see yaks grazing. As you reach Dingboche at 4,410 meters, you may feel the effects of thin air at a high altitude. Calm down and drink plenty of liquids. Keep yourself hydrated all the time. Our guide will check your oxygen level with an oximeter and monitor if you can trek.

      As we traverse the Khumbu Glacier, the worldโ€™s highest glacier at 4,900 meters, you will be captivated by its lunar-like landscape stretching over 12 kilometers. Walking amidst the ice formations and small pools of water, you will experience a sense of fulfillment like no other. However, take caution as the scree and moraine can pose a risk of a foot injury, although it is a joyful journey. Soon enough, you will reach the ultimate destination of your trekโ€”the Everest Base Camp.

      We eventually arrive at Namche by descending gradually through the charming communities of Orsho, Somare, Pangboche, and Tengboche.
