Guide

English speaking well trained, Government license holder guide with all his salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transport and insurance.

Meals

Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) during the trek. Fresh fruits every nights after dinner.

Transport

Airport pickup and drop by private vehicle. Tourist bus Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu. Private transport Pokhara-Nayapul and Phedi to Pokhara.

Accommodation

Thwo night standards Hotel in Kathmandu with breakfast. Two nights standard hotel in Pokhara with Breakfast. Trekking lodge accommodations during the trek.

All necessary paper works (ACAP) entry permit& Trekkerโ€™s Information Management System (TIMS) permit. Oxymeter to check your pulse and oxygen saturation and heart rate twice daily (Very useful to check Altitude Mountain Sickness(AMS) symptoms) Which will ensure you trek is in the safest hands possible for all levels of trekker. Assistant guide group size above 8+ person Medical supplies (first aid kit will be available). Arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service which will be paid by your Travel Insurance Company. Use of Sleeping bag, down Jackets and walking poles (if you do not have your own, to be return after trip completed). Government tax, service charge and official expenses.

      n your arrival at Kathmandu you will be met by a representative from Sherpa Expedition Teams and taken to your hotel in Kathmanduโ€™s tourist hub, Thamel. You will have time to spare and can explore this vibrant area of Kathmandu where there are many restaurants, cafes and places to purchase any equipment you need on this trek. You will also be briefed on what to expect on the trail.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Fly To Pokhara (827M/2,700Ft), Trek To Ghandruk (1940M/6360 Ft) 7-8 Hours.

      We will take an early morning flight to Pokhara. On the flight you will get glimpses of the enormous Himalayan Massif. From Pokhara we drive for about 1.5 hours to Nayapul from where our trek begins. We pass through Birethanti and then on to the predominantly Gurung town of Ghandruk where we will stay overnight.

      ur second day on the trail takes us to Chomrong Village which is the last village before entering the region and gateway to Annapurna Base Camp. The trail descends from Ghandruk to the Kyuri Khola (river) and then to Kimrong Danda. We will trek through terraced farmlands before coming to the Gurung village of Chomrong (2170m).

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek From Chhomrong To Bamboo (2310M/7578Ft) 4 - 5 Hours.

      This morning we plod down 2500 stone steps and then cross the bridge above the Chomrong Khola before climbing up to Sinuwa Village. The next section of the trail takes us through a  forest and on to Khuldighar before a relatively easy descent to Bamboo Village. 

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek From Bamboo To Deurali (3230M/10,595Ft) 3 - 4 Hours.

      We begin today by trekking through a bamboo forest and gradually head higher with some parts of the trail quite steep. After reaching Himalaya Hotel/Deurali the trail emerges from the forest and we have views of the icy - cold river below us. We then have a steep climb through more forest before arriving at Hinku Cave. The trail once again heads down to the river before ascending once more to Deurali. The vegetation is sparser here and allows some fantastic views as we look down to the valley and river below, and the vertical cliffs above us with waterfalls cascading down. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek From Deurali To Annapurna Base Camp (4,130M/13,545Ft) 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we trek across a riverbed and then on a steep trail from Bagar to Machapuchare Base Camp. From Machapuchare Base Camp we will have some breathtaking views of Mt. Machapuchare, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The vegetation is sparse as we ascend to ABC. From here we have further breathtaking views of the close to vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The Annapurna sanctuary has amazing 360-degree panoramic views and we can clearly see Mt. Machapuchare, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other snow-capped peaks.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek From Annapurna Base Camp To Bamboo (2500M) 7 โ€“ 8 Hours.

      On leaving Annapurna Base Camp we retrace our steps on the trail back to Bamboo. Luckily the trail is nearly all downhill that makes is easier to traverse. On the downhill trail, we can look out over an unbelievable landscape before arriving at Bamboo Village.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek From Bamboo To Jhinu Danda (1760M/5770 Ft) 5 - 6 Hours.

      This morning we head out on the trail from Bamboo and after a short ascent arrive at Sinuwa Village (2320m) and then Chomrong Village. We will take a short break at Chomrong before heading uphill and then we descend to Jhinu Danda. This is an enjoyable and relaxing time to sit back and relax those aching muscles in the therapeutic hot spring situated just below the Modi River. 

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek To Naya Pul & Drive To Pokhara (850M) 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we follow the trail for six hours until we arrive at Nayapul from where we take a bus back to Pokhara. This leg of the trip, by bus, will allow you to soak up this magnificent mountain scenery. We will stay at Pokhara tonight.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Fly From Pokhara To Kathmandu Or Alternatively By Bus To Kathmandu.

      Today we can choose to fly or take a 6 to 7 hour bus trip back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel.

      Today a representative from Sherpa Expedition Teams will drop you off at the airport at least three hours prior to your scheduled departure.
