Day 1: Prahova Valley

Day 2: Sighisoara surroundings

Stop At: Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer, East side of the Brasov Depression, Prejmer 507165 Romania
The church was founded by the Germanic Teutonic Knights, and then was eventually taken over by the Transylvanian Saxon community. Initially Roman Catholic, it became Lutheran following the Reformation. Together with the surrounding village, the church forms part of the villages with fortified churches in Transylvania UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3: Hunedoara surroundings

The citadel was built on the site of 2 other fortifications— the legionary fortress of Legio XIII Gemina, as well as the medieval Balgrad citadel.
