Day 1: Zhangjiajie--Fenghuang. O/N Fenghuang.

Stop At: Zhangjiajie, Zhangjiajie, Hunan
Today, our guide will meet you at 9am of your Zhangjiajie hotel/airport/train station and transfer to Fenghuang old town, need 3.5hrs driving, 230KM. If you want us meet you at the airport/train station, you had better be there before 18:00pm.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Phoenix Ancient Town, Tuojiang Town, Fenghuang County 416200 China
when we reach the Fenghuang old town, our guide will help you to the check in the hotel and show you visit the Fenghuang old town.
Different from other ancient towns in China, Fenghuang Ancient Town is a secluded and tranquil town located on the bank of the river and surrounded by mountains. It is a good idea to stroll in this ancient town and visit some interesting shops and homes, and discover some interesting nooks. The ethnic handicrafts are really delicate and special in this region. At night, the town becomes more quiet and peaceful. Sitting in a bar and appreciating the sunset is wonderful.

Stop At: Tuojiang Ancient Street, Shizi Street, Tuojiang Town, Fenghuang County 416200 China
We can visit the Fenghuang old town follow the Tuojiang ancient streets, those streets were narrow alleys paved with flagstones and decorated with lanterns, and walk around to grab some souvenirs and snacks from stalls lined along the streets. You can see some local elderly women wearing traditional costumes and selling their handmade souvenirs on the roadside.

Stop At: Phoenix Hong Bridge, Hongqiao Street, Fenghuang County 416207 China
Next, go to Hong bridge, you know at Fenghuang old town has many bridges due to the Tuo river, The famous bridge is " Hong bridge" and in English is “Rainbow Bridge” was constructed during the Ming Dynasty. Local legend holds that the bridge was constructed to “cut off the Dragon’s head” when the emperor learned that an emperor would be born here to replace him.
When we walking through the bridge, you will find Several souvenir and craft shops line the first floor of the bridge, and the second floor hosts a tea shop and an exhibition of calligraphy and art.

Stop At: Phoenix East Gate Scenic Area, Fenghuang Ancient City, Fenghuang County 416200 China
Afterwards, head to East gate area. As one of the four gates in Fenghuang Ancient Town, the East Gate Tower is close to Tuo River, built in the 54 year (1715) during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1,616 A.D.-1,911 A.D.) with the initial name-“Shengheng Gate”, and it is actually the east gate of Fenghuang Ancient Town in a solemn and magnificent style and Tower is a two-storied architecture with the bottom part built by red sandstones and the upper part built by ancient red bricks. The frame structure of the tower is a combination of the “beam supporting structure” and the “through type timber frame”.

Day 2: Fenghuang--Guizhou Fanjing mountain Park--Fenghuang. O/N Fenghuang.

Stop At: Fenghuang County, Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan
At 8:00am, our guide and driver will meet you at the Fenghuang hotel lobby then transfer to the Tongren Fenjiing Mountain(2hrs driving each way, 123KM away from Fenghuang.

Stop At: Mount Fanjing, At the junction of Jiangkou County, Songtao County, Yinjiang County, Tongren China
Today is a full day exploration of the incredible Fanjingshan. You will take the South Route to ascend the mountain. First take park bus from the tourist center to Yu'ao Station where you will take a cable car up to the mountain top area, which will save you a lot of time for you to spend on the highlighting area.

What to see at Fanjingshan
Located in Tongren, Guizhou province (southwest China), Fanjingshan is the highest peak of Wuling Mountains, 2,570m (8,430ft) above sea level. Besides standing out as a sacred Maitreya mountain for Buddhists, Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve was also established and designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and later announced as a World Heritage Site in 2018.

Red Cloud Golden Summit, a thumb-like peak, is described by UNESCO as an "island of metamorphic rock in a sea of karst", believed to have been formed somewhere between 2 million and 65 million years ago. For everyone else, one of the main appeals of visiting Fanjingshan is the stunning views from the summit.

Mushroom Stone is the landmark of Fanjingshan. Big on the top and small at the bottom, it is vividly formed like a mushroom. For more than one billion years , it has been standing there still and hit by the rainstorms, summer heat and winter snow year after year, which is the essence of what Buddhism says about "Remain unbiased" in every circumstance.

Old Golden Summit, with an elevation of 2,494 metres, is the highest scenic site of Fanjingshan. On the top of Old Golden Summit is a temple dedicated to Buddha Dipamkara which is as well as the best place to take some panoramic photos of Fanjingshan.

Cheng En Temple, located between the two summits with scarlet walls and black tiles, is the main building of Fanjingshan Temple Group and one of the four Royal temples in Fanjingshan which was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368AD-1644AD).

Day 3: Fenghuang--Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. O/N at Wulingyuan.

Stop At: Fenghuang County, Fenghuang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan
Our driver and tour guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 09:00am then transfer to Zhangjiajie National park to see the Avatar mountains and need 3.5hrs driving as well.

Stop At: Zhangjiajie, Zhangjiajie, Hunan
After the 3.5hrs driving, we will reach the Zhangjiajie area and we will first to stop for lunch due to inside of the park there is no good restaurant.

Stop At: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
Next, go to the Zhangjiajie National park of Wulingyuan Scenic Area which was listed as UNESCO World Heritage in 1992. But this world heritage site is popularly known as "Zhangjiajie Scenic Area" rather than "Wulingyuan" mainly because Wulingyuan Scenic Area is under the administration of Zhangjiajie City plus the same name Zhangjiajie National Forest Park within Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

Stop At: Tianzi Mountain, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
When we purchased entrance ticket, will using the shuttle bus to Tianzi station then take the Tianzi mountain cable car to reach the Tianzi mountain(around 20 minutes) then we will spend 30 minutes here.

Tianzi means “Heavenly Prince”. actually, he is the real person who leads the local minority to fight with the government army in Ming Dynasty 500 years ago…Mt. Tianzi Area is the very old battle field. Most of the scenic spots there are combined with historical stories and legends of this honorable man. Besides these, Visually, on the Tianzi mountain top, we can experience the most spectacular view of sandstone peak forest in the park featured by its sharp and slim shape. it’s one of the highlights in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

Stop At: Yuanjiajie, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China
After the Tianzi mountain And then Transfer Yuanjiajie area and we will spend 30 minutes there.

Yuanjiajie is the main background of the very Movie: Avatar, located with hundreds of original pieces of “Floating Avatar Mountains”.(The major one is called:”Hallelujah Mountain.” the view there is really impressive like outer-space. No wonder, it’s rated as the most famous highlighted area in the park. The pillars here are bigger-sized than other areas. Moreover, there is a World Highest Sightseeing Elevator (326m) to be experienced which saves us a lot of time for sightseeing more. The only problem for Yuanjiajie is it would be crowded in high tourism season. So just need to be aware of it.

Stop At: BaiLong Elevator, National Forest Park, Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie China
Next, go to the Bailong Elevator and we will using this elevator go down of the hill and then we will continue to Golden whip if you want visit more.

Stop At: Golden Whip Brook, In Wulingyuan District, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie 427400 China
Golden Whip Stream (Jinbian Stream) is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. As a veritable “paradise” for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. And it is also a kingdom of animals. Golden Whip Stream is named after Golden Whip Crag, its landmark spot, and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men(water-surrounded gates).
You will hiking around one hour along the Golden Whip Stream then take a shuttle go out of the park and back to the hotel.

Day 4: Wulingyuan-Grand Canyon-glass bridge-Yellow Dragon cave. O/N at Wulingyuan.

In the morning, our guide will meet you at 9am of your hotel lobby then transfer to glass bridge and need 50 minutes driving.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie, Sanguansi, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
After the 40 minutes driving, Your local expert guide will take you to start the adventure trip in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, which is famous with explorers and lovers of nature from home and abroad, by featuring typical Zhangjiajie land form, breathtaking cliffs, lush forests, ancient caves, colorful ponds, and a river running through the canyon.

Next, go to the Glass bridge and walk on the world’s longest and highest Glass Bridge in Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. Hanging over a valley, the glass bridge provides a superb panorama of the entire grand canyon. Enjoy a scenic walk boasting waterfalls and wonderful views on each side. Standing on it is like floating in the air.

Day 5: Wulingyuan--Tianmen mountain Park--Zhangjiajie airport. The tour end.

This morning, our guide will meet you at 9am of your hotel lobby, of course, we can meet you early or later, it depends of your flight/train departure time.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Tianmen Mountain Ticket Station, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie 427000 China
We will spend 2-3hrs there. We will using the cale car or shuttle bus go up of the hill, but it depends of the traffic.

Tianmen Mountain, appears as the ”New Legend Of Zhangjiajie “. It’s the highest spot (1500m) in Zhangjiajie,where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird’s view. and the landscape there is totally different from, meanwhile, at the same level as the ZJJ national Park. Both are world-class scenery, so it’s a must-visit highlight of this city you should not miss. What is more Unbelievable? this single mountain holds 4 World Guinness Records in its small body. and any of them will be overwhelmingly impressive to any type of human being. Just an amazing experience you have never had before.
