Day 1: UB - Khugnu Khaan Natural Reserve and Elsen tasarhai sand dune
Stop At: Khugnu Tarna, Mongolia
Local nomadic family (elsen tasarhai and Khugnu Khaan Natural Reserve)
I offer you the possibility of staying with herder family in the central Mongolian steppe. You can participate in daily activities in such as animal milking, cooking, dung gathering, taking care for herd, gathering the animals, and horseback riding. We will enjoy seeing the animals grazing in the ever green valley. Your hosts will serve you authentic Mongolian herder meals including homemade yogurts and traditional milk and cheese products. After dinner you have a chance to play Mongolian traditional game by ankle bones with nomads.

Day 2: Kharkhorin ancient capital city

Kharkhorin is a small town in Uvurkhangai Province in Mongolia. The population of Kharkhorin town itself was 8,977 in 2003 and covered an area of 20.5 km2. Kharkhorin is located at the upper valley of the Orkhon River which is included within UNESCO's World Heritage Site Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape. Nearby there are the ruins of the ancient town of Karakorum (also known as Kharkhorum or Qara Qorum) which, for a short time, served as the capital of the Mongol Empire under Ogedei Khan. Once we reach there, we will visit the โErdenezuuโ monastery to discover tombs, a temple, and a real Buddhist temple. Once we get there, we will accommodate in a town ger hostel. After having dinner in a tourist camp, we will have a free time hiking or wandering around the town.

Day 3: Tsenher hot spring
Stop At: Tsenkher Jiguur camp, Tsenkher Rd, Altan-Ovoo, Mongolia
After breakfast, we will drive to the Tsenkher hot springs. It is one of the most beautiful hot springs in Mongolia. It reaches a temperature of 86 degree from the forest and enriched by the minerals and optimum pH for the skin. Itโs popular for its healing properties and high flow rate, high alkalinity and huge content of fluoride and sulphur. The hot spring is mostly used for relaxing and restoring your health.

Day 4: Ugii lake
Stop At: Ugii nuur, Ugiinuur Rd, Zegstei, Mongolia
After breakfast, drive to Ugii Lake (altitude 1387 m; surface areaโ25 sq. km). When you visit the lake, you will have an opportunity to take a boat tour and do some birding. On the way, you will see Khusuu Tsaidam, a Turkic inscribed monument of the Turkic State (6th โ 8th Centuries A.D).

Day 5: Hustai national park
Stop At: Hustai National Park, Ulaanbaatar 13 Mongolia
On the way to Ulaanbaatar, we will stopover at Khustai National Park which is known as being a home of Przewalski wild horses. Named as โTakhiโ in Mongolian, those are the last and only breed of wild horses in the world. Since its re-introduction, today in the Park, there are some 300 wild horses. There are 46 mammals, 172 birds, 2 amphibians, 3 reptiles, 16 fish, and over 289 insect species have been recorded. We will see Takhi, the Asian wild horse. If you have a chance, see the wolf, argali sheep and deer.
