A guide will pick you up for city tour in Quito. Start in the colonial center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to numerous historic buildings and squares. You will visit Plaza Grande and the beautiful churches of La Compañía and La Basílica.

Afterward, make your way to the Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) monument to stand on the line of the equator. Strike a pose with one foot in each hemisphere and see how your balance is affected at latitude zero. Then, enjoy the nearby museums and exhibits, including the Planetarium, the Ethnographic Museum, and the Artisanal Beer Museum. There is also a small-scale model of Quito here, giving you a unique perspective on the city.

We will head south and east and up to a fabulous hot spring named Papallacta. Today is a day of rest after a couple of jam-packed days.

Once we reach the area, the first order of business is checking into the resort at the springs and getting ready to enjoy the mineral waters of volcanic origins. Located at 10,660 ft (3250 m) elevation, this resort has nine warm pools and three pools with cool water, all at various temperatures so that you can find the perfect one for yourself. An on-site spa offers multiple health and beauty treatments, including hydromassage that can improve circulation, alleviate muscle aches, and even help rejuvenate your skin. Enjoy a chocolate body wrap, a wine treatment, a Turkish steam bath, or a mud wrap, among other options. Then relax in the pools, allowing your mind to wander and dream while your body, spirit, and mind can return to a harmonious balance.

Here, you will find yourself surrounded by dozens of giant tortoises that roam freely in their natural habitat.

Tonight, you have a special dinner reservation booked to enjoy a delicious meal in a restaurant by the sea. Over dinner, you can share the special memories you’ve created so far and relax with good company as you chat about your trip to the "enchanted islands." Start your morning with a two-hour public speed boat trip to Isabela Island. This perfect snorkeling spot is located in the Cabo Rosa lava tunnels, locally known as "Los Tuneles." To reach this magnificent destination, you will board a speedboat at the dock in Puerto Villamil, embarking on an approximate one-hour journey.

As you approach the lava flows, you will notice unique geological formations that have been created by the series of lava flows, including arcs and tunnels underneath and above the water. These formations make Los Tuneles an exceptional place to swim around.

Once you reach the shallow waters, you’ll be in for a treat. You can expect to encounter a diverse range of marine life in the shallow waters. Keep your eyes peeled for tropical fish, rays, turtles, sea horses, and white-tipped reef sharks. And if you’re lucky, you might even swim alongside majestic sea turtles. Get an early start this morning and take a public speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. After about two hours and half on the water, you’ll arrive at Puerto Ayora.

Then you will go to the Unica Cerveceria in Santa Cruz, where you will be explained the history of the brewery in Santa Cruz and an organoleptic explanation of the raw material in the elaboration of the beer. They will also participate in the production, malt milling on the milling bike and tasting of the beer brewed. In the meantime they will be given a talk.
