Also known as Castle of the Counts, it was built back in 1180. Today it houses the Arms Museum and Museum Judicial Objects that display various weapons used in warfare and other contraptions used for punishment during medieval times. You can go to the top for 360 views of the city!

Day 2: Bruges, Belgium

Stop At: Belfry of Bruges, Markt 7, 8000 Brugge, Belgium
The Belfry of Bruges is a medieval bell tower that sits in Market Square, and it is listed as one of the top things to do in Bruges. It’s 366 steps to reach the top and once you do you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the city.

The main attraction of the Basilica of the Holy Blood is the Holy Blood. Inside the church, there's a phial made of rock crystal filled with blood brought to the city by Thierry of Alsace after the 12th century Second Crusade. This phial is believed to contain the blood of Jesus Christ and it’s brought out to be worshipped by believers every day.

Day 3: Antwerp, Belgium

Antwerp has been known as the diamond capital of the world since 1447 and it still is today, right next to the Central Station find the famous diamond district of Antwerp, the place where rough and polished diamonds are traded.

Day 4: Antwerp, Belgium

Stop At: Grote Markt, Antwerp 2800 Belgium
Grote Markt is the main square of Antwerp and is one of the most beautiful town squares in Europe. The amazing 16th century City Hall dominates the square that is surrounded by Guild Houses. If there is one place you have to see in Antwerp, it’s the Grote Markt!

Day 5: Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Houses in the shape of a cube and mounted at a 45-degree angle. Rotterdam is known for it's quirky and modern architecture, so you have to see as much of it as you can! Constructed by architect Piet Blom in the seventies, you can take a look around the famous houses and there is even a hostel inside of one.

Day 6: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Day 7: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

A visit to Amsterdam would not be complete without a trip to Anne Frank House. For just over 2 years, Anne Frank and her family lived in a secret annex, hidden away from the Nazis. During this time, she wrote in her diary which became a memoir and an important piece of history.
