7-DAY TREKKING TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO TO ERG CHEGAGA DESERT
DAY 1:ย Arrive at Marrakech then transfer and overnight in a local Hotel.
DAY 2: MARRAKECH -ย COL TICHKA (2260 M) -ย OUARZAZATE -ย AGDZ -ย DRAA VALLEY -ย ZAGORA -ย FAIJA โ CAMPย After breakfast, travel down towards Ouarzazate (gateway to the desert) via Tizi'n'Tichka pass 2260m. Visit to the famous Glaoui Kasbah of Telouet, then continue on to Agdz and Zagora. Finally arrive at Faija, where the camp is set up ready. Distance: 400 kms (with breaks).
DAY 3: PLATEAU FAIJA -ย DJBEL BANI -ย COL OUM LAACHAR -ย OUED LEMHASSER -ย OASIS โ CAMP.ย After breakfast, start walking on the desert plateau and pass farms at the foot of djebel Bani. Ascend the famous pass Oum Laachar that will take you to Oued Lemhasser. 5-6 hours walking / 17 kms.
DAY 4: OUED LEMHASSER -ย CHEGAGA DUNES -ย CAMP IN THE BASE OF THE DUNESย We leave Oued Lemhasser and walk towards the beautiful dunes of Chegaga, spend the night between the dunes. 5-6 hours walking / 20 kms.
DAY 5: CHEGAGA DUNES -ย BOUGARN DUNES -ย CAMP WALKING IN THE HEART OF THE DESERTย Today we leave the Chegaga Dunes heading to the stunning dunes Bougern. Spend the night at the camp. 5 hours walking/ 16 kms.
DAY 6: BOUGARN DUNES -ย OUED NAAM โ CAMPย After breakfast, leavie the Bougarn Dunes and cross the Oued Naam, where the camp will be set up. 5 -ย 6 Hours walking / 16 kms.
DAY 7: OUED NAAM -ย MHAMID DUNES -ย ZAGORA -ย MARRAKECH โ HOTELย Our last day in this beautiful landscape, returning to Zagora via the Mhamid Dunes, and finally transferring back to Marrakech. 3 hours walking / 8 hours drive back to Marrakech (with breaks).ย
