When you arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the reserved hotel. After some rest in the hotel, visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa.

Day 2 Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will start the trip by visiting Patan Durbar Square including Golden Temple, the Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa.

The Patan Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares in Kathmandu valley. Surrounded by royal palaces, shrines and courtyards, this Newa architecture is well worth your visiting. Religion plays an important role in Nepalese’s life, especially in art and architecture. The Pashupatinath Temple is the holiest Hindu temple and the Bodhanath Stupa is the largest Buddhist stupa architecture in the world.

Day 3 Kathmandu - Bandipur Village

Kathmandu - Bandipur Village

Today we will drive about 5 hours to Bandipur, a Newar town with its age-old flavor still intact, which is in midway on the day-long drive between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and have the rest day free to explore the village with company of your guide.

Day 4 Bandipur - Pokhara

Bandipur - Pokhara

Today we will leave Bandipur for Pokhara. On the way, you will visit an interesting place - the Siddha Gupha (cave), which is one of the biggest cave in Nepal and lies in the place called Bimal Nagar.

On arrival in Pokhara, we will assist you to check in at the hotel. After refreshment, the exciting boating trip to Phewa Lake waits for you. The Phewa Lake is the second largest lake in Nepal and it is famous for its reflection of mountains and peaks on its surface. You can spend some time at leisure around the lake side.

Day 5 Pokhara

Pokhara

Getting up early this morning, we will transfer you to Sarangkot. If you like, we can arrange a two-hour mountain hiking up to 1,592 meters. Sarangkot is a mountain side village with a perfect panoramic view of Himalayas. Dhaulagiri range is on the far west, and the Annapurna range is also visible on a clear weather day. On the south direction, you can also overlook the Pokhara city and its lake. Then have some rest atop and transfer you back to Pokhara. In the afternoon, the excursion includes World Peace Stupa, Gupteswor Mahadev cave, Davis falls, International Mountain Museum and Seti gorge.

Day 6 Pokhara - Tansen (Palpa)

Today we will drive you to Tansen, also called Palpa, a small town sprawling over a ridge in western Nepal. The narrow and winding alleys in the town center were lined with many Newari houses and temples. The nearby Srinagar offers a panoramic view of high Himalayas. You will stay overnight at the hotel in Tansen.

Day 7 Tansen - Lumbini/ Bhairahawa

This morning, we will continue drive to Lumbini, which is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal and the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The road twists and turns to Lumbini make the whole driving very thrilling and exciting. After arrival, you will rest a while in the hotel. Then you will visit the Lumbini Garden. There are a number of temples including the Queen Mayadevi Temple, Ashokan Pillar and many monasteries recently built by the different countries.

Today we drive to the Chitwan National Park. Covering an area of 932 square kilometers, this park now stands as a successful natural conservation in Asia. It is a great habitat for rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger and many other endangered species of mammals, birds and aquatic lives.

In the morning, we will go through the forest by riding an elephant and see the sika deer and one-horned rhinoceros along the way. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a canoe ride to see the crocodiles and birds, experience a jungle walk and visit Elephant Breeding Center where there are plenty of cute little elephants. The best time to visit the center is before 10:30 or after 15:30.

Day 10 Chitwān

First, we will visit Tharu Museum whose exhibitions include colorful mural paintings, various art crafts and characteristic costumes displayed the daily lifestyle of the Tharus. In the afternoon, we will arrange a jeep safari for you to have a deep exploration of the forest. In the evening, we will enjoy a Tharu Cultural Dance Show.

You will enjoy Bird Watching tour in the morning. After breakfast, we will drive you to Daman, a village at an altitude of 2,400 meters, which probably has the most grandeur view of Mount Everest on a clear weather day. Along the winding roads up to the village, a stretch of the Rhododendron flowers scattered over the hill in spring, just like the whole forest is in fire. Tonight you will stay at bungalow.

Today, we are going to Bhaktapur, 15 kilometers (9 miles) east to Kathmandu. The first stop is the Durbar Square. It is also called Palace Square because the imperial palace of Malla Dynasty was built here. Most ancient buildings gather around the square, so it is also reputed as the open museum and is one of the world’s cultural heritage. Next destination is an Indian temple Dattatreya Temple.

Then we will continue to Dhulikhel, which is 17 kilometers away from Bhaktapur and takes around 30 minutes. Dhulikhel is a lively small town with a history of more than 500 years. It has been an important trading center on the ancient commercial route linking Nepal to Tibet. There, you can see a spectacular view of the snow-capped Himalayan mountains, which is considered one of the finest panoramic views in the world. Besides, it is the real town of the Newari which has red brick houses, delicate wood carving decorations and numerous temples. All these are well worth a visit. Tonight, you will stay in Dhulikhel.
