  • Day 1 Nairobi - Masaimara
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Nairobi - Masaimara

      • Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant like in the Masai Mara national reserve. It is one of the best destinations in the world for wildlife viewing in their natural environment. There are over 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and more than 400 birds species recorded in the reserve. The reserve is famous for the annual wildebeest migration that occurs when more than two million animals arrive in Masai Mara from Serengeti in July and go back in October. All members of the big five are found in the reserve.

      Other animals seen here include cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, thompsonโ€™s gazelle, Grantโ€™s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, oribi, reed-buck and zebra etc. Birds are abundant which include more than 60 species of raptors.  They include eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, little grebe, pelicans, cormorants & darter, herons, egrets, bitterns ,hammer kop, shoebill, ibises, spoonbill, ducks, geese among many others.

      Game drives are the most popular way of viewing wildlife in the Masai Mara. There are also other ways methods  including hot air balloon and nature walks. Other popular activities include photographic safaris and cultural experiences. Night game drives is not permitted in Masai Mara national reserve. Some of the private conservancies do have night game drives.

       

      DAY 1: NAIROBI TO MASAI NATIONAL RESERVE


      You will get a pick up from your hotel/residence or the Airport in the morning and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. Stop over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will be able to have a scenic view of the overlying rift valley escarpment which spreads out the valley below creating a beautiful scenery. You will proceed and arrive in time for lunch at your camp in Masai Mara. You will then have an evening game drive after lunch before getting back to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 2 Masai Mara National Reserve
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Masai Mara National Reserve

      • After an early breakfast, you will have a morning game drive. you will have clear views of the wildlife and landscape from the open roof vehicle. Expect to see of the Big five mammals including buffalos, leopard, lions, Elephants and rhinos. the morning game drive offers an excellent opportunity for witnessing predators like lions and cheetahs making a kill. Dont forget to move with your cameras so that you can take beautiful photos of Africas famous mammals. In between the game drives, you will have picnic lunch amidst beautiful nature and wildlife and then proceed on with game drive before getting back to the lodge.

  • Day 3 Masai Mara - Nairobi.
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Masai Mara - Nairobi.

      • On this last Day, you will start with a Nature walk in the mara conservancy. you will enjoy a guided walking Safari and this will give you another opportunity to get close to many animals like the Giraffes, Zebras and Warthogs. You will also Have an opportunity to visit the Masai Villages [for Extra Cost] . You will then Exit from the park and return Back to Nairobi with a stop at Narok for lunch at your Cost. You will Later be Dropped at the Airport or at Your Nairobi Hotel.
