Day 1: Pick up from Cochin Airport to Munnar
Stop At: Munnar, Munnar, Idukki District, Kerala
A typical Kerala itinerary should be able to give travellers the best of Kerala’s diverse natural, cultural and geographical offerings. We recommend a Kerala tour plan for 5 days at the very least to truly appreciate the beauty of Kerala. Over the period, you will trek through the lush green hills of Munnar, wander past the vast tea and spice plantations, admire the unique flora and fauna in their natural habitat in Thekkady and jump aboard one of the iconic Kerala houseboats in the backwaters of Alleppey for a tranquil overnight’s stay away from the land and under the stars.

Day 2: Day spent in Munnar
Stop At: Munnar, Munnar, Idukki District, Kerala
Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above mean sea level, in the Western Ghats mountain range. Munnar is also called the "Kashmir of South India" and is a popular honeymoon destination.
Morning after breakfast, we will arrange a full day sight seeing tour of Munnar. This will cover the Rose Garden, Tea Garden, Photo Point, Honeybee Tree, Madupetty Dam/Lake, Echo Point & Kundala Dam/Lake.

Nestled inside the hills of Munnar, the dam was constructed for the purpose of water conservation and power generation. Today the dam is a vital source of electricity in Munnar and haven for many wild animals and birds. The most attractive part of Mattupetty dam is its still water which reflects the tea garden around. You can engage yourself with water sport activities like speed boating organized by district Tourism Promotion Council of Idukki (Munnar) and enjoy the pretty natural surroundings of this beautiful dam. Adventure lovers also have options here like trekking in the Shola forest.

Stop At: Echo Point, Munnar-Top Station Highway, Munnar 685616 India
Just 15 km from Munnar, “Echo Point” gets its name due to the natural echo phenomenon. This point is situated at the top in Munnar due to which the sound gets echoed back to you.
Apart from hearing yourself back, one can experience breathtaking views from the high point. This beautiful and captivating beauty is the junction of three well-known mountain ranges namely mudrapuzha, nallathanni and kundela.

Day 3: Drive from Munnar to Thekkaddy
Stop At: Thekkady, Thekkady, Idukki District, Kerala
Morning after breakfast , continue your journey to Thekkady, which is a 3.5 hour drive to Thekkady. Check into the resort and relax.
Later on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore a wide variety of spices in Kerala.
Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known.
Boat cruises are particularly recommended. Back to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey (Overnight in the Houseboat)
Stop At: Alleppey Backwaters, Alappuzha India
Enjoy the backwaters, scenery and different places for 21hrs in the Kerala style houseboats from 12 noon.
Observe the daily life of people who lives near the backwater while cruising. In the houseboat you shall be greeted with a welcome drink. Lunch, dinner and breakfast will be provided as per the timing. Evening Tea/Coffee & snacks shall also be provided.
