Day 1 โ Welcome to Helsinki
Our driver will meet you at the airport and arrange your transfer toย ย hotel. Your accommodation in Helsinki will be in heart of Helsinki, in one of the best 4* hotels of the city.ย
Day 2 โ Helsinki tour and Train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, Finland
Your day begins after breakfast with a bus Panoramic 1,5-hour tour of Helsinki. Multi-lingual audio headsets are provided onboard. You will pass through the historical centre, diplomatic quarters and Senate Square, experiencing the amazing architecture of the Presidential Palace, Parliament and Opera Houses, City Hall and the magnificence of the Church of the Rock(providing if it is open).
You have chosen to travel to Lapland via the overnight train; your travel voucher will include train tickets. The station is a mere 100 meters from your hotel. The modern and comfortable train departs Helsinki at 10pm and arrives at Rovaniemi at 11:20am. More about trains...
Day 3 โ Visit Rovaniemi. Explore Lapland Safaris
Upon your arrival our driverย will meetย you at the train station for the private transferย to hotel. Your Rovianemi accommodation will be at one of the best Rovaniemi hotels. Located close to shops, bars and restaurants, these are modern 4-star hotels in the city centre.ย
The evening of Day 3 involves a Campfire Northern Lights Search Tour. A 50 kilometer transfer from the hotel to an idyllic wilderness spot, by the side of a river, will maximize the chances of seeing theNorthern Lightsโ a nature show put on by the gods at their leisure! Fry sausages by the campfire and wait for this natural performance to reveal itself.
Day 4 Lapland
Following breakfast, your day of adventure begins with the Santa Claus Safari, which runs from 10.00 until 16.00. A snowmobile rideย will take you to a reindeer farmย for a fun and informative lesson in Lappish culture and reindeer husbandry. Uou can participate in a reindeer expedition across the Arctic Circle, you will even receive a commemorative diploma of the crossing!
Travel by car during the early afternoon to the Santa Claus Villageโ this magical wonderland of ice sculptures, workshops, fairy lights and elf shows introduces you to Santa Claus himself.
Day 5 โ Lapland Tours
In the evening our driverย will bringย youย to the train station. An overnight trainย back to Helsinki will depart from Central Railway Station at 6 - 9pm and arrive in Helsinki at 6 - 9am the following day (schedule can be slightly changed).
Day 6 โ Helsinki
Arrival to Helsinki at 9am. We'll organize your transferย to the airportย before departure.
