9-day Small Group Tour To Shanghai - Beijing - Xian - Shanghai

Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai

Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. We don't have any further arrangements today, as you will visit other major destinations in this small group tour first, and finally return to Shanghai for a visit before you leave China. Relax yourself in the hotel during the remainder of the day, or you can have a self-exploration with suggestions from the guide.

Overnight: Hotel Equatorial Shanghai (5 stars)

Day 2: Shanghai - Beijing

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and take a 5.5 hours high-speed train to Beijing. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the Exit of the railway station and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the day. (B)

Overnight: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars)- the former Sheraton

Day 3: Beijing (B+L)

Visit Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, a la carte lunch including Peking duck, the Temple of Heaven, a lovely Chinese Kung Fu Show.

Day 4: Beijing (B)

Visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Round trip cable car is include. Then you can take photo of Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way to the urban area. Lunch is on your own arrangement. At last, visit a local market. 

Day 5: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L)

Visit the Summer Palace and traditional Hutong alleys including Chinese Paper cutting. Have an a la carte lunch at a fancy restaurant. Take a flight to Xi'an and check in at the hotel.

Overnight: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5 star)

Day 6: Xi'an (B+L+D)

Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. After a special home cooked lunch with a local family, you will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show and enjoy a dumpling dinner. (Tips: the dance show is available from Apr. to Nov.)

Day 7: Xi'an - Shanghai (B+L)

Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, Fly to Shanghai, Airport-hotel transfer.

Overnight: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (5 stars) or Similar

Day 8: Shanghai (B+L)

Visit Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden and its nearby bazaar. An a la carte farewell lunch will be served at a popular local restaurant. After lunch, visit the former French Concession, the Bund and have a short cruise along Hungpu River. Upon returning to the hotel your guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage.

Day 9: Shanghai (B)

Airport drop-off is not included today. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule.
