Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Pickup in Beijing

Pass By: Beijing Capital International Airport, Shunyi District, Beijing, China
Your local tour guide will meet you at Beijing Airport after reclaiming your luggage and clearing customs. The driver will transport you in a comfortable vehicle to the hotel and help you with the check-in procedure. The rest of the day is left for you to have a good rest or to become familiar with our capital city on your own.

Day 2: Tiananmen, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, & Kung Fu Show

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
Your tour guide and the driver will pick up you at your hotel lobby and take you to tour Beijing city. Firstly, you will have a stroll on the world's largest square in the city center - Tiananmen Square.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
From the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.

At noon, you will be provided a la carte welcome lunch at a nice restaurant.

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Temple of Heaven with its unique architectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.

Stop At: Red Theatre Beijing Kung Fu Show, No.44 Xingfu Street, Dongcheng District 50 Meters East of Tiantan Hotel, Beijing 100061 China
You will never miss a fabulous Chinese Kung Fu Performance specially arranged for you in the evening. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the hotel. That is the end of this-day tour.

Day 3: Travel in Mutianyu Great Wall

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
This morning you will be taken to Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car will be arranged. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory. To celebrate and commemorate this moment, we specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall.

Pass By: Niaochao National Stadium, No.1 Guojia Tiyuchang South Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing China
In the afternoon, on the way back you will have a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest. After that, enjoy some free time to explore a popular local market.

Day 4: Summer Palace, Beijing Hutong and Fly from Beijing to Xi'an

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China
The first stop of this-day tour is the Summer Palace - the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hutong Tour, No.9, Zhonglou, Dongcheng District No.9, Zhonglou, Dongcheng District, 100009, Beijing, Beijing 100009 China
Then you will take a trip to the old Hutongs. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture. Besides, you can experience the Chinese Paper Cutting which is specially arranged for you in your Hutong visit.

At noon, a la carte lunch is prepared for you to taste the authentic Chinese food.

Late in the afternoon, you will be escorted to the Beijing airport. From there you will take a flight fly from Beijing to Xi'an. Upon your arriva, you will meet your you local guide outside the baggage claim area. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hotel in Xi'an.

Day 5: Terracotta Army, Ancient Pagoda & Tang Dynasty Dancing Show

Stop At: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Qinling North Road, Lintong District, Xi'an 710600 China
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Xian and take you to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. You will see the three excavated pits, the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Follow your guide to know more about its history and culture. You will have at least two and a half hours to explore this significant site.

At noon, you will have a chance to visit a local family and further know the lifestyle of local people. What's more, you can follow the host to learn how to cook Chinese food.

Stop At: Small Goose Pagoda, No.72 Youyi Road, Beilin District, Xi'an 710068 China
After lunch, you will follow your guide to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. It was founded during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) to store sutras brought from India by an eminent monk, Yi Jing, and the pagoda is similar to the renowned Big Wild Goose Pagoda in shape but smaller in size, hence the name. Many exquisite stone Buddha, stone lions, stone horses and other stone carvings can be seen there.

A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while partaking of the famous Dumpling Dinner.

Note: Since the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours starting during the periods. Clients will enjoy free time to relax.

Day 6: Tour in Xi'an City Wall and Take a Flight to Shanghai

Stop At: Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang), Zhongxin District, Xi'an 710001 China
The day begins with a leisure visit to the City Wall Park, where you can observe the day-to-day life of the locals. You may also practice Tai Chi with the master. Tai Chi, a soft form of Chinese martial arts, is considered the quintessential Chinese culture.

After that, you will pay a visit to the City Wall. It is the most complete existing urban fortification in China. Cycling on the ancient wall is an exciting experience that many people like to try (bike rental fee is not included).

Pass By: Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, Weicheng District, Xianyang, Xianyang, Shaanxi, China
After that, you will be escorted to the airport to leave for Shanghai. Upon your arrival, you will meet your local tour guide and driver outside the baggage claim area. Then you will be accompanied to check-in at the Shanghai hotel.

Day 7: Shanghai Highlights Tour

Stop At: Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan), No.201 Renmin Avenue, Shanghai China
This morning, Your local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You will visit one of the four largest museums in China, Shanghai Museum, which specializes in exhibiting art works from ancient times.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Yu Garden (Yuyuan), No.218 Anren Street, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200010 China
Then, come to the Yu Garden - one of the attractions that you cannot miss in Shanghai. The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. There is a bustling bazaar where you are able to find various storefronts selling different kinds of local snacks and souvenirs.

Stop At: Former French Concession, Puxi Central, Huangpu District, Shanghai 200000 China
Wander in the area of the Former French Concession, you can appreciate lots of European style buildings from the early 20th century.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Huangpu River, Headstreams from Dianshan Lake, Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201700 China
Take a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River. Enjoy your leisure time on the ferry and appreciate the charming scenery.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China
Have some free time at the Bund area. You can stroll around the Bund to feel the boom of this International Metropolis.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 8: Transfer to Suzhou, Chinese Classical Garden and Tongli Water Town

Stop At: Humble Administrator's Garden, No.178 Northeast Road, Pingjiang District, Suzhou 215001 China
In the morning, your professional guide will pick you up at an appointed time. After a warm greeting, you will be driven about 1.5 hours to Suzhou - a city praised as the Oriental Venice.

Then your tour guide will immediately accompany you to tour the Humble Administrator's Garden, which is a classical garden full of graceful scenes.

Then you will take a tricycle to travel around Suzhou old town. Lunch is served at a nice local restaurant.

Stop At: Tongli Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou 215217 China
After that, you will be guided to the Tongli Ancient Town to continue this one-day private tour. Here you can appreciate the ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing dynasties and immerse yourself in this peaceful environment by strolling around the old town.

Your amazing journey comes to an end when the guide transfers you back to Shanghai and say goodbye to you at the hotel lobby.

Day 9: Leave Shanghai by youself

After having breakfast, you are supposed to check out the hotel before 12:00 and find your own way to the airport. You can choose to take a taxi to the airport.
