Day 1: Port Elizabeth to Carnarvon

Pass By: Camdeboo National Park, Graaff-Reinet South Africa
We drive through the reserve where we could see antelope.

Day 2: Carnarvon to Calvinia for Breakfast; Niewoudsville and Van Rhynsdorp

Stop At: Calvinia Museum, 44 Church Street, Calvinia 8190 South Africa
Our second day on tour and we should be seeing some of the wildflowers of the Western Cape regions

Day 3: Van Rhynsdorp up the West Coast Highway to Garies for breakfast and on to Springbok.

Stop At: Goegap Nature Reserve, Springbok 8240 South Africa
Today we travel up the N7 to Springbok where we will overnight. We spend time en route looking for flowers including the Namaqualand Wildflower reserve; Nababeep Mining town and other points of interest.

Day 4: Springbok to Clanwilliam; breakfast en route; on to the West Coast flower reserve and Postberg. Overnight in Citrusdal

Stop At: Ramskop Nature Reserve, Clanwilliam 8135 South Africa
Today is an exciting day as we visit the Rooibos Tea factory; The Ramskop Flower Reserve; Pakhuis Pass; C Louis Leipoldt Grave site; The Rock Art Trail and the Englishmans grave. This evening your host plans to give you a South African Braai.

Breakfast should be at Garies where we will search for the Letterklip. Lunch on the Pakhuis Pass where we see some spectacular and historical sites.

Day 5: Citrusdal to Velddrif for Flamingos; Laaiplek; Langebaan; Paternoster and Darling. Evita se Perron.

Stop At: West Coast National Park South Africa
After breakfast we continue down the N7 to Vredendal and the National Park where we hope to have a great Flower Day at Post Berg. We should be on the Atlantic Ocean today having crossed the continent from East (Indian Ocean) to West.
We hope to see the Flamingos in Velddrif and maybe even Pelican. Paternoster is a good breakfast stop.
We overnight in Darling or Riebeek Kasteel areas.

Day 6: Darling / Riebeek Kasteel; Ceres; Gydo Pass; Op die Berg; Touwsriver Grave site to Matjiesfontein

Stop At: Darling Sweet, 7 Lang Street, Darling 7345 South Africa
Darling is an interesting little town -- Probably best known to South Africans as the town of Evita Bezuidenhout. We will visit Evita se Peron and the museum. . We will try to find the Watershed of Wolsley; the Mountains of Ceres and the village of Touwsrivier. We end the day at Matjiesfontein where we spend time exploring and take the tour bus which ends at the pub for a sherry.
Our last dinner is in the Lord Milner Hotel this evening.

Day 7: Matjiesfontein to Prince Albert for breakfast; Meiringspoort and Homeward Bound along the scenic Langkloof.

Stop At: Langkloof Tourism, 10 Ferreira St, Joubertina, 6410, South Africa
Breakfast at the Lazy Lizzard and then through Meiringspoort to De Rust before continuing on the Langkloof back to Port Elizabeth
