Itinerary

Day 1: tirana visit

Stop At: Tirana County, Tirana County
Once arrived at the airport, an Ecotour Albania agent will be there waiting to take you to your hotel.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Bunk'Art 1, Rruga Fadil Deliu, Tirana 1001 Albania
Depending on the flight schedule you may start visiting the city’s main sites like the city center, the mosque and also its cathedrals.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 2: Gramsh

Stop At: Valbone, Valbone, Kukes County
Today we “officially” start our Albanian E-Bike Tour!
We will be heading to Gramsh right after enjoying the breakfast in Tirana. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to gaze at the amazing scenery that the albanian nature offers and as we pass through an old road dating back to the communist regime period, you will have the impression that Albania is for real a hidden gem that is waiting to be explored by the world.
Once arrived in Gramsh, we have the chance to get to know this area more, an area which is very famous for its small lakes but nevertheless plenty in number. During our stay in Gramsh, we will visit some must-see-attractions like: Holta’s Canyon, Sotira Waterfall and Dushku’s Lake.

Day 3: Tushemisht

Stop At: Tushemisht, Tushemisht, Korce County
Next place in our “to-visit-list”, is the picturesque village of Tushemisht. The decor is so rich and varied that UNESCO has added this lake (one of the oldest in the world) to the World Heritage List in 1979 for its fauna and flora. The lake and mountains on the horizon offer you a breathtaking view!
Along the way, we will make a stop in Ohrid. The city of Ohrid is located on the shores of the lake with the same name. This lake is UNESCO classified for its flora and fauna as well as one of the oldest lakes. In this city we may enjoy the visit of the Saint Sophie Cathedral or we can just spend some time next to the lake and relax.

Day 4: Saint Naum- Galichica- Korça

Stop At: Korca Old Bazaar, Rrugica Piro Lena, Korce 7001 Albania
Today we will be heading to North Macedonia.
As we pass the border, which is very close to Tushemisht, we will start the day by paying a visit to the beautiful Monastery of Saint Naum which is also part of the World Heritage Site, UNESCO.

After having enjoyed our time in Saint Naum Monastery, we get ready to drive towards the Galichica National Park on the Macedonian side of the same mountain, situated between the two biggest lakes in the republic: Lake Ohrid and Lake Prespa.

Right after Galichica National Park, we will visit the city of Korca, the Little Paris of Albania. And you may ask...Why this name? We will let you discover why once you are there.

Day 5: Rehova

Stop At: Rehove, Erseke Albania
As we left behind a tiring yet a wonderful day, we are ready to have another adventurous day in the village of Rehova. However, before arriving there, we will set up our bikes and
we will pass through Korça which is characterized by mountains and fields planted with fruit trees, mainly apples.
We will make a short stop at a Tuma (3000 year old tomb) in the village of Kamenica. In the afternoon we will arrive in the village of Rehova.

Then we will continue towards the village of Rehova. This is a village well known for its expertise in food. We will have the opportunity to spend a nice time with the habitants, cook with them and spend a night in this village.

Day 6: Përmet

Stop At: Permet, Permet, Gjirokaster County
Today, we will be heading towards the small city of Përmet. The scenery of this day will be breathtakingly beautiful. The high mountaints combined with the river Valleys create a postcard view which I assure you it will be hard to take your eyes off. The valley of Vjosa River is one of the most amazing valleys in Albania and lately it is known as the Last Wild River of Europe.

Once in Përmet, we can’t leave without visiting the thermal waters of Benje. The famous thermal waters are located in a very scenic surrounding: under the Katiu Ottoman bridge. The bridge marks the end of the 5 km long Langaricë Canyon.
Later on, you will stop at the agri-touristic town of Permet. There you will have the chance to discover regional products such as jam and gliko.

Day 7: Ardenicë- Divjakë- Spille

Stop At: Spille Beach, Spille 2010 Albania
In the morning, we get ready to depart in direction of Ardenica Monastery. A short stop in Tepelena may also be part of our trip. We will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of Ali Pashë Tepelena, known also as the Muslim Napoleon. Right after Tepelena, we will continue towards Ardenica.
The Orthodox monastery of Ardenica is the only one still operating in Albania! The quality of its frescoes attracts many visitors each year. From there we will have a spectacular view all over the fields up to the sea.

After having enjoyed and explored Ardenica, we will go to the National Park of Divjaka.
In this National Park, you can have a walk in the forest and also watch rare kids of pelicans, like the curly pelican, in the Karavasta Lagoon, located in the Park. It is a quiet and nice place with nice landscapes. Cycling in the park of Divjaka for around 2h.
At the end of the day, we will be heading to Spille, a beach area in where we will relax and spend the night.

Day 8: Golem- Durrës

Stop At: Durres, Durres, Durres County
This day will be characterized by hilly and coastal landscapes. We will explore the wonderful area by bike passing through small villages yet so pictoresque. Worked lands, olive groves and Adriatic sea will make this day very interesting. After lunch, we will arrive in the coastal city of Durrës.

Day 9: Cape of Rodon- Tiranë

Stop At: Lalez Beach, Albania
On this day, we leave behind the city of Durrës and we head to Cape of Rodon. During our exploration with bikes, we will make a stop to have a wine degustation experience and then we continue our road to Cape of Rodon. From this cape, we will have some beautiful views coming from Adriatic Sea. In the afternoon, we return to Tirana.

A city since 1614 and the capital of Albania since 1920, Tirana is the country's main cultural hub. Once in Tirana, we have the opportunity to do some sightseeing including places like: The National Museum, Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower and the Palace of Culture. In the evening, as its our last day of the trip, we can enjoy a nightout at Blloku area.

Day 10: Departure

Stop At: Tirana, Tirana, Tirana County
This is the last day of your trip to Albania.
