You’ll begin your tour at Tokyo`s oldest and most prominent temple, the majestic Senso-Ji. Steeped in tradition dating back over fourteen hundred years, Senso-Ji remains a cherished symbol of both Asakusa and Tokyo.

Then you’ll visit the Tokyo Skytree – a remarkable telecommunications tower standing proud at an astounding height of 634 meters! This iconic city landmark forms the epicenter of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City ward near Asakusa. With its towering stature, the Skytree used to be the tallest building globally until 2019, and now ranks second. However, what sets this attraction apart are its massive shopping complexes and an impressive aquarium. We’ll begin the day at teamLab Planets Tokyo, an innovative art experience curated by the renowned art collective, teamLab. Boasting cutting-edge technology like projection and motion capture, its immersive and genre-defying galleries have made it one of Tokyo’s top tourist attractions.

Then you’ll head to Ikebukuro Sunshine City, a large-scale complex with a variety of including shops dedicated to Pokémon, Totoro, and so much more for anime enthusiasts with numerous merchandise stores, collaboration cafes, and events. It also boasts an abundance of cosplay and alternative fashion outlets. Ikebukuro also hosts an annual Halloween cosplay contest which draws in contestants worldwide.

Shibuya Crossing is a must-visit for any trip to Tokyo. This sprawling intersection just outside Shibuya Station is covered with lights and massive billboards, a national symbol of Tokyo, and the sight of watching 1,000 people cross at a time makes it a one-of-a-kind experience. Today we’ll head to Yokohama Chinatown (Yokohama Chūkagai). Japan’s largest Chinatown, a large number of Chinese stores and restaurants can be found in the narrow and colorful streets of Chinatown. Various events and festivals such as Chinese New Year around the beginning of February are also held at Chinatown.

Next, you’ll visit the Cup Noodles Museum, which is designed to stir the creativity and curiosity within every child and provide a rich educational experience. Through the museum’s many exhibits, you’ll learn about this beloved meal and about Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin Food Products and inventor of instant Ramen.

You’ll end the day with a visit to the mighty Odawara Castle. Built in the mid-15th century and known as a major base for one of the most powerful clans during the Warring States Era, it has been rebuilt and stands tall as the most prominent castle near the Tokyo area and a majestic feat of traditional Japanese architecture.

Located at the foot of Mount Fuji, Mt. Fuji Safari Park is home to a plethora of different kinds of animals. The animals in the wildlife area are raised in a natural environment close to nature. You’ll get a chance to observe and feed some of the animals up close in the park’s interactive area.

Then you’ll visit the unique Hakone Open Air Museum. Located in Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, Japan’s most visited national park, this museum attempts to create a harmonic balance of nature and art by exhibiting various sculptures on its grounds in combination with views of the surrounding valley and mountains. It also offers rotating exhibitions by various artists, shops and cafes that overlook some of the installations, multiple children’s play spaces, and an outdoor foot bath.

The stunning Higashi Honganji Temple is still an incredible feat of traditional Japanese architecture. Built in 1602 and located near Nishi Honganji Temple, these two enormous temples once formed a united complex before being separated during feudal times due to concerns over political influence. Today, Higashi Honganji continues to inviting visitors from all over the globe and maintains a significant role within Japan’s religious landscape as the head temple of the Otani faction of Jodo-shin Buddhism, and houses the Goeido: one of the world’s largest wooden structures, and the nearby Amidado Hall.

Next, you’ll visit Sanjusangendo which is the popular name for Rengeo-in, a temple in eastern Kyoto which is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy of Japanese Buddhism. It is also home to a wooden statue of a 1000-armed Kannon (Senju Kannon) which is flanked on each side by 500 statues of human sized 1000-armed Kannon standing in ten rows.

Then, you’ll experience the grand Nishiki Market: a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants. Known as "Kyoto’s Kitchen", this lively market specializes in fresh seafood, produce, knives and cookware, and is a great place to find plenty of Kyoto specialties such as Japanese sweets, pickles, dried seafood and sushi.

Today you’ll visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine/Red Torii Gates, which is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred, 233-meter-tall Mount Inari.

Next up, we’ll head to Nara Park - home to a mesmerizing herd of free-roaming sika deer! These majestic creatures have been designated as national treasures due to their long history of living harmoniously alongside humans. Visitors to the park can indulge themselves in feeding these gentle giants using specially sold crackers available within the premises. It’s a magical sight to see these docile animals stroll around leisurely or even bow down humbly before receiving their treats.

Afterward, you’ll head to Todai-ji Temple, a historic landmark that holds great significance in Japan. Make your way through the grand Nandaimon (Great Southern Gate) which is watched over by menacing Nio statues crafted by famous artists Unkei and Kaikei. Inside the temple complex, you’ll come across the immense Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall), one of the biggest wooden buildings in the world, boasting remarkable size and architectural style.

After a long day, your last stop will be at Nakatanidou, a well-known store that focuses on traditional mochi.
