Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Varas

Pass By: Puerto Varas, Puerto Varas, Los Lagos Region
Arrival at the Airport El Tepual, in Puerto Montt. At the agreed time, a driver will wait for you at the airport to take you to your hotel in Puerto Varas. You will have the of the day to rest or explore the city.

Day 2: City Tour in Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas

Stop At: Monumento a la Colonizacion Alemana, Entre Plaza de Armas y Avenida Diego Portale, Puerto Montt Chile
At approximately 9 am the guide will be picking us up from the selected hotels to go to the highest point of the city of Puerto Montt where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
We will visit the monument to the German settlers and then we will continue along the Pelluco beach.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Avenida Angelmo Esquina Pacheco Altamirano S/N, Puerto Montt 5480000 Chile
We will arrive at the emblematic kilometer 0 of the Austral Highway, and we will return to this route to go to the famous Angelmo Avenue. We will make a stop at this avenue, well known in the country for its large number of craft stores.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mercado Tipico Angelmo, Puerto Montt Chile
We will also visit the Municipal Market where we will find the richest and most traditional dishes that characterize the area.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Puerto Varas, Puerto Varas, Los Lagos Region
We will continue on our way to Puerto Varas where we will visit its main attractions such as the Cathedral and the Phillipi Park.
Duration: 2 hours

Pass By: Lago Llanquihue, Puerto Varas Chile
Then we will descend along the beautiful lake Llanquihue (if we are lucky, we will see the Osorno volcano on our way), ending with the last stop on the beach of Puerto Chico.

Stop At: Puerto Chico, Puerto Varas, Los Lagos, Chile
We will finish at approximately 1 pm, having the rest of the day free to rest or tour the city of Puerto Varas.

Day 3: Chiloe Tour

Pass By: Chacao, Chacao, Los Lagos Region
At approximately 8:45 am, we will start our day leaving our selected hotels to head towards Pargua, where we will embark on a ferry that will take us to Chacao, the entrance door of the island of Chiloé.

Stop At: Isla Chiloe 5700000 Chile
After 30 minutes of navigation, we will arrive in the city and take a tour. The town of Chucao is one of the oldest on the island, founded in 1567. It has a Plaza de Armas where we can appreciate the curious and picturesque typical buildings. We will also visit its colorful fort and its wooden Church, one of the 150 Churches that we can find in Chiloé. We will have time for lunch in a typical place on the island. (Lunch not included)

Stop At: Ancud, Ancud, Isla Chiloe, Los Lagos Region
We will continue our way to the city of Ancud, where we will reach the viewpoint of the Huaihuen hill.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Puente San Antonio, Ancud, Los Lagos, Chile
We will continue visiting the beach of Arena Gruesa, Fort San Antonio, the interactive Museum and Craft of the city, the Municipal Market, the City Center, and Costanera Avenue.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Isla Chiloe, Isla Chiloe, Los Lagos Region
Mientras recorremos estos lugares escucharemos las historias y mitos de una de las islas más grandes de Sudamérica, historias mitológicas y mágicas que serán narradas por nuestros guías y nos llevarán al interesante mundo de lo desconocido que rodea Chiloé.

Day 4: Frutillar Tour

Stop At: Lago Llanquihue, Puerto Varas Chile
We will start our day leaving Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt towards Lake Llanquihue, the second largest lake in the country.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Frutillar, Frutillar, Los Lagos Region
From here we will visit the beautiful city of Frutillar, founded by German settlers who settled in farms near the bay to engage in agricultural activities. We can still contemplate the German colonial urban style in this place where the peaceful country life, cheerful gardens, colorful houses and tea rooms are mixed.
Here we can enjoy southern traditions, since Frutillar perfectly reflects the history of German settlers throughout the region. We can see it in its architecture, in the roses introduced in the gardens and typical gastronomies.

Stop At: Teatro del Lago, Av. Philippi, 1000, Frutillar 5620285 Chile
We can visit the Lake Theater, one of the largest and most modern in South America, and the German Colonial Museum, to understand more about the history in the area (tickets not included).
After the visit, we will be returning to our selected hotels in Puerto Varas.

Day 5: Bye bye Puerto Varas

Pass By: Puerto Montt, Puerto Montt, Los Lagos Region
Depending on departure time of our flight, you will have free time to make last-minute purchases or go out to tour the city.
At the agreed time, our driver will pass by the hotel to take you back to the El Tepual Airport of Puerto Montt.
