      Today we discover the fascinating city of Tokyo, a perfect blend of ancient traditions and modernity. Our day begins with a leisurely stroll through Meiji Park, followed by a visit to the majestic Meiji Shrine. As we approach the shrine, we will learn how to purify ourselves and offer prayers to the gods, according to the Japanese tradition.Next up is a private tea ceremony, a centuries-old cultural activity that involves the preparation and presentation of Matcha tea using symbolic utensils. This meditative Zen ritual is sure to leave you feeling calm and centered.After indulging in an authentic Japanese lunch, we will embark on a journey to some of Tokyoโ€™s must-see sights, including the Imperial Palace Plaza, Sensoji Temple, and Nakamise Shopping District.       Today, we will travel to the iconic Mt. Fuji, Japanโ€™s highest mountain. Drive up to Mt Fujiโ€™s Fifth Station and enjoy the above views of the summit. Then cruise on the pristine Lake Ashi and ride on the Komagadake Ropeway which boasts a beautiful view over the Hakone National Park. Travel onwards to Hakone, one of Japanโ€™s best destinations for onsen, or thermal hot springs. At your luxury ryokan, enjoy a full-course Kaiseki dinner and have a hot spring bath against the magnificent Mt Fuji backdrop.

      Today, you will be transferred to Odawara Station. Take the Shinkansen to Nagoya, then change to the Hida Limited Express train for Takayama. Enjoy your dinner at the Ryokan with famous local Hida beef, one of the best kinds of wagyu beef.

      The day starts with a relaxing visit to the Morning Market. Then your guide will take you to the Takayama Jinya, which was a government office that was under the direct control of the Tokugawa Shogunate. From there you will have the chance to explore some other notable sites in the city. The Takayama Yatai (floats) Kaikan Museum features elaborately decorated floats, which are over 700 years old. The Yatai demonstrates the legendary craftsmanship of Takayama. In the afternoon, we will visit the Kusakabe Heritage House, which is one of the oldest merchant homes in Takayama. Explore Sanmachi Suji one of the three Old Town streets that have survived in a beautiful state.
