Visa: Stays of 2 nights or more in Jordan do not require a visa though, tourists of certain nationalities must obtain a visa in advance, before the commencement of the tour; this must be done independently. Border fees: The Jordanian authorities charge a border tax of $50-$60. Tour itinerary order may change according to your day of departure, the final sequence of tour days will appear in your confirmation email. Every morning you will join a new group led by one of the best and most professional tour guides Israel has to offer, as this tour package is a combination of daily tours. Since this is a group tour and many customers wish to buy souvenirs, each daily tour includes a visit to a souvenir shop/s. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to visit Yad Vashem due to the sensitive content. Drop off in a different city may imply extra fee. Please check with the tour operator.

      When you arrive in Israel you can make your way to your hotel and settle in. Then take the opportunity to go out and explore. Sample the local street food; visit the bustling markets or maybe just relax on the beach. If you want some suggestions about how to spend your day feel free to ask one of our team.

      Day 2: Caesarea, Acre And Rosh Hanikra

      See the coastal cities of Israel north of Tel Aviv. Tour the ancient Roman port city of Caesarea and in Haifa see the cascading terraced Bahaโ€™i Gardens. Our journey takes us to the northernmost point on Israelโ€™s coastline where we walk though the white sea caves of Rosh HaNikra. Returning south the tour arrives in the Crusader city of Acre to visit structures from the 12th century, Ottoman era and British Mandate Period.

      Driving north along the coastal road we turn towards the Plain of Armageddon and pass Megiddo. We pause at Mt. Precipice then continue to Nazareth to tour the Church of Annunciation and Church of St. Joseph. Passing Cana we drive along the shore of the Sea of Galilee. We see the Mt. of Beatitudes from afar and visit Capernaum; stop at the Church of the Multiplication; pass Tiberias and visit the baptismal site of Yardenit. On our return journey, we pass Mt. Tabor.

      Day 4: Masada And The Dead Sea

      Heading south through the Judean Hills and past the Inn of the Good Samaritan we travel below sea level to the lowest point on Earth. We take a cable car to the summit of Masada, a plateau where King Herod built a palace-fortress over 2,055 years ago. After touring Masada we drive through the desert past the Ein Gedi oasis and Qumran to one of the best Dead Sea beaches. Here you can spend time relaxing and floating in the water.

      Day 5: Jerusalem Old And New

      Today we start with a panoramic view across Jerusalem from Mt. Scopus. Then we drive past the Garden of Gethsemane; Church of All Nations and Kidron Valley to reach the Old City. Walking through the Jewish Quarter we see the Byzantine Cardo and the iconic Western Wall. Then we trace Jesusโ€™ steps along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulche. Following lunch in the Old City and a walk through the bazaar we visit the Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum.

      Day 6: Day Of Leisure In Jerusalem

      You have today at your leisure to discover Jerusalem for yourself. We can help with suggestions if you want any advice. Perhaps visit the Israel Museum; the Shrine of the Book that holds the Dead Sea Scrolls or get lost in the narrow lanes of the Old City. Visit the Machane Yehuda market; shop in the Mamilla Mall or visit the Biblical Zoo.

      Day 7: Jerash And Amman

      Today the Jordan section of the tour package begins! We enter the Kingdom of Jordan via the Sheikh Hussein Bridge border crossing and stop in Jerash to see the remains of this ancient Roman city-state. After touring Jerash we continue to the Jordanian capital of Amman where we take in the sites on a panoramic tour before settling in to our Amman hotel for the night.

      After an early breakfast in our Amman hotel we travel to Wadi Musa and enter Petra; the archaeological site of an ancient city built over 2,300 years ago. The Nabataeans carved their city from rose-hued cliffs and survived the harsh environment thanks to ingenious water-gathering methods becoming an important stop on the ancient trade routes. See the intricately carved temples, tombs and facades then take in the view of Petra from Al Madhbah before returning to Wadi Musa for the night.

      Day 9: Madaba And Mount Nebo

      Today we drive to Madaba, a city famed for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. We see the most famous of these ancient works โ€“ the Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land featuring Jerusalem. We travel to Mt. Nebo where Moses looked into the Promised Land and from here we can see as far as the Dead Sea and Jordan Valley. We visit a Byzantine church to see its mosaic floor then return to Israel via the Allenby Bridge.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Last Day In Israel

      Day 10: Last Day In Israel

      Today is your last day in the Holy Land and it is time to say your good-byes. You can leave your luggage at the hotel while you go out to do any last minute shopping or return to places you fell in love with on the tour.
