  • Day 1 Tbilisi โ€“ The City Tour

      Tbilisi โ€“ The City Tour

      Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport. Meet your guide and drive to Tbilisi. Check-in to the hotel at noon. After short rest, start a sightseeing tour in Tbilisi. Start at Metekhi church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by Special Mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafรฉs, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. Stop by the most famous contemporary symbol of Tbilisi - The Bridge of Peace. Continue with Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. Take a walk through famous Rustaveli avenue, visit old flea market of Tbilisi called - The Dry Bridge - place where memories are sold.  Overnight in Tbilisi

  • Day 2 Tbilisi -> Mtskheta-> Gori -> Kutaisi

      Tbilisi -> Mtskheta-> Gori -> Kutaisi

      After breakfast at the hotel, leaveTbilisi and drive towards Gori. On the way, visit Jvari Church, a true architectural masterpiece of the early Medieval Period built on a hilltop. You will enjoy the views of the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. From Jvari we are going to visit Svetitskhoveli cathedral, one of the most famous and important cathedrals in Georgia. Right here, is kept the robe of Jesus Christ. Reach Gori and visit the Stalin Museum. The museum includes more than 60,000 artifacts, the tiny house where Stalin was born, and impressive bulletproof train Stalin used to travel to Yalta and Potsdam. Continue to Uplistsikhe and explore the cave town dating back to Hellenistic Period and notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures and the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture. Around 3000 years ago people from all around Georgia used to come here to workiship sun. Enjoy wine-tasting in wnery of Uplistsikhe. Drive to Kutaisi, the central city of Western Georgia once called "Aia". Locals often call Kutaisi the father town of Georgia. Since ancient times, Kutaisi had strong connection with western civilizations especially with Greece so all these vibes are still notisable here. The road to Kutaisi will take you over Rikoti pass and through the longest tunnel of Georgia (1,722 m). The tunnel is also considered as a border between western and eastern parts of Georgia. Arrive in Kutaisi, have a small walk around town.  Overnight in Kutaisi.  Covering distance:  From Tbilisi to Mtskheta - 27km.  From Mtskheta to Gori - 69km.  From Gori to Uplistsikhe - 15 km.  From Uplikstsikhe to Kutaisi - 165km. 

  • Day 3 Kutaisi โ€“> Martvili Canyons -> Mestia

      Kutaisi โ€“> Martvili Canyons -> Mestia

      In the morning drive to Martvili Canyon from Kutaisi. On the way to Martvili you will pass local villages with the eye-catching charming yards typical only to this area. Locals in Samegrelo region love giant yards and fruit fields so you'll have a chance to drive throught nut gardens directly. Once we reach The Martvili Canyons, we'll take a small boat trip inside the Canyon, see one of the nature's most wonderful creations โ€“ waterfall. This terotory used to be the private property of Georgian royal family during centuries and now, we have a chance to enjoy same atmosphere as they did. After that enter the gorge's another side and stroll over the canyon's waters watching it changing its colors on every turn and stone. The best place for selfies. In the afternoon, head to mysterious Svaneti region through Inguri gorge. On the way have a small stop by Enguri Dam, one of the biggest projects of Soviet Union. Continue to Svaneti afterwards. The region is home to a special ethnic group of people โ€“ heroic and courageous Svans โ€“ distinguished by their culture, traditions and customs from the rest of Georgia. Svaneti is also known for its original architecture and is called โ€œthe Country of Thousand Towersโ€, which had played both economic and defensive functions. Mestia still has dozens of such medieval stone houses with the watchtowers and inhabited towers that were used to protect valleys and churches (10-14th centuries).  Take a walk in inner parts of Mestia and enjoy local atmosphere.  Overnight in Mestia.  Distance Covered:  From Kutaisi to Martvili Canyon - 51km.  From Martvili Canyon to Enguri Dam - 73km.  From Enguri Dam to Mestia - 103km.
