      Flight with Turkish Airline from Istanbul to Tashkent, Arrive in Tashkent, Transfer to the hotel. Check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

      Visit the sights of the multifaceted capital. Visit the Khasti Imam Square with the beautiful Barak Khan Madrassah, the Tilla Sheikh Mosque and the Kaffal Shashi mausoleum of simple brickwork. Here you can take a look at the Koran handwritten by the Third Caliph Osman (644-656). Continue to visit the huge Chorsu Bazaar, whose oriental smells and spices will put you in the tales of 1001 Nights.       In the morning travel by train to Samarkand. Samarkand, the "most precious pearl of the Orient", is one of the oldest cultural centers in the world and has a rich history. Afrosiab, as the legendary capital of ancient Sogdiana was then called, was the target of conquests by Alexander the Great from the west and Genghis Khan from the east. Amir Timur established his capital here and numerous masterpieces of Islamic architecture testify to the size, power and splendor of his empire. During your first day in Samarkand you will visit the imposing mosques and beautiful medreses commissioned by Amir Timur and his successors: the Bibikhanum Mosque and Registan Square with the three medes Ulugbek, Shir-Dar and Tilla-Kari the most beautiful highlights of this trip. You will visit the old tissue paper manufactory and the Ulugbek Observatory (XV century), which tells the fascinating story of the little son of Tamerlane and have time to spend free time or strolling in the oriental bazaar.       People have been living in the Nuratau Mountains since the time of Alexander the Great. Villagers keep house and yard as it was done centuries ago. Women cook on the open fire, weaving, spinning yarn, baking their own bread, milking cows. Men guard shepherds, build houses of stone, rocks and clay. They stay in a village, can watch birds, walking, riding on donkeys, and participating in cooking the traditional food gives an excellent opportunity to witness the life of local farmers. Walk around the village in Nurata Mountains. You enjoy the beautiful scenery and the pure air of the mountains. Overnight in the guest house. ( B,L, D)
