      Our agent picks you up from Tangier port and visit the city, depending on your arrival. This whitewashed hillside medina is home to the Dar el Makhzen, a palace of the sultans that's now a museum of Moroccan artifacts. The American Legation Museum, also in the medina, documents new diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate. We also visit Hercules caves shaped in the African continent. In this cavern, Hercules allegedly rested during his labor with an opening in the shape of the African continent, as well as the 1000ft site above sea level at the entrance of the strait of Gibraltar. The visit also includes the kasbah museum that used to be the house of the former sultan's palace of Dar El Makhzen from prehistoric times to the 19th century enjoying the charming Andalusian garden.   • Day 2 Tangier - Asilah - Rabat - Casablanca

      Departure from Tangier to Casablanca via Asilah & Rabat. Asilah, the well-preserved 15th century Asilah. An art hub, ramparts, and gates built by colonial Portuguese. The town has much to see like the paintings that fill the whitewashed walls of the medina, the 15th-century ramparts, the Church of San Bartolome, El Hamra tower. The visit includes also Rabat,  the UNESCO World Heritage Site Oudaya, and Hassan tower, a minaret of an incomplete mosque that built by the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate in 1195, along with Mohammed V mausoleum that has the tombs of three kings (Mohammad V, Hassan II, and Prince Abdallah). The drive takes you to Casablanca to visit Mohammad V square, an Airy square built-in 1916 amid French Colonial buildings, with a statue & pigeon-covered fountain. And Hassan II mosque was completed in 1993, designed by Michel Pinseau and built by Bouygues. The mosque is considered the second-largest in Africa after the Algiers grand mosque, and 7th in the world. The mosque also has the world's second tallest minaret at 210 meters.       The journey takes via the High Atlas Mountains, through many authentic towns and Berber villages. The journey crosses the village of Telouet visiting Ait Ben Haddou kasbah. A famous 17th Century fortress is classified to date by UNESCO to preserve and protect this renowned site.  In past years, its fame built on a film making of Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth and, more recently, the sought out location for Gladiator, Kingdom of heaven, and Prince of Persia. Lunch will be served in a restaurant near the kasbah, followed by a sightseeing tour of Kasbah Taourirt. After this, the drive takes you past Skoura city, through the valley of Roses towards Kalaat Megouna, entering Boumalne  Dades. Dinner & overnight stay in Boumalne Dades

  • Day 8 Boumalne Dades - Merzouga

      After breakfast, the drive takes you to Todra gorge in Tinghir. The breath-taking views of the Gorge views and river attract hikers to the area. The trip crosses the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani. As the journey ends on the edge of the Merzouga desert, there is an opportunity to enjoy traditional mint tea as prepare for your two-hour camel trek.  The trek will take you to your desert camp where you will stay overnight, enjoying dinner, campfires, local desertโ€™s music under the bright stars of the desert night.
