The waves atย Milibangalalaย are great for surfing and visited mainly by locals only. This means that you will not run into the problem of someone 'stealing' your wave. You'll enjoy one of the most scenic routes to the beach possible, through theย Maputo Special Reserve. Here you'll have a chance to see some of the Reserve's most popular inhabitants about in their natural habitat.
Itinerary:
Day 1:ย
This morning will be an early one! You can expect your guide to pick you up from your location inย Maputoย at approximately 5:30am. On the way, the guide will give you a light breakfast to enjoy while we cross the ferry toย Catembe.
By now, we are on our way to the Reserve, but first we will make a stop at the village ofย Salamangaย to visit a Hindu Temple and a traditional bread factory.
Upon arrival at theย Maputo Special Reserve,ย and on our way to lunch, you'll begin to notice wildlife roaming about, a casual drive through a magnificent habitat.
Once we finish our lunch in the bush, we will continue on towardsย Milibangalalaย where we will camp overnight.ย
When we arrive, the set will begin camp setup and you have a chance to relax or hit the waves for the rest of the day.
This evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner served up by our camp chef and we will camp in semi-luxury tents.
Day 2:ย Free day to enjoy the surf or opt for extra activities. Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner will be prepared at your request.
Day 3:ย Free day to enjoy the surf or opt for extra activities. Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner will be prepared at your request.
Day 4:ย Free day to enjoy the surf or opt for extra activities. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared at your request.
Day 5:ย Free day to enjoy the surf or opt for extra activities. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared at your request.
Day 6:ย Free day to enjoy the surf or opt for extra activities. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared at your request.
Day 7:ย This morning is your last opportunity to enjoy the beach as we will soon begin our departure toย Maputo.
We expect to arrive back in Maputo around 6:30pm where your guide will drop you back off at your accommodation.
