The following are the inclusions in this tour: - 3 star hotel with breakfast (no other meals are included) - Day 1: Arrival in Zurich and transfer to your hotel in Zurich by swiss pass - Day 2: Walking Tour of Zurich - This is a self guided tour. You will be provided with a Google Maps Link, and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself. - Day 2: Rhine Falls Excursion- There’s a boat ride at the fall which takes you to closer to the fall. If you are interested in it, you will have to pay it there. It costs CHF 15 per person. Otherwise it is free to visit and the transport from Zurich to Rhine falls is covered by the Swiss Pass. - Swiss Pass: To travel around Switzerland you need to have the Swiss Pass which will give you easy access to all the public transports also sightseeings - Day 3: Transfer to Appenzell - Transfer to Appenzell using swiss pass. - Day 3: Appenzell region full day - You will have a pass for the entire day which will allow complete access to all trains in the region (however, mountain trains and cable cars are not covered and will require individual tickets) - Day 4: Transfer to Engelberg - Transfer to Engelberg using swiss pass. - Day 4: Mount Titlis - The cost for the ticket of entry is included. To reach this place you will need to take a train to Engelberg from Lucerne. The gondola and the cable car costs are also included in the package. (Please note that a few days every year, Mount Titlis is closed for maintenance. If your Mount Titlis excursion falls within these maintenance dates, we will replace it with Mount Pilatus excursion) - Day 4: Mt. Stanserhorn Excursion - The train and cable car that you take to Mt Stanserhorn is included in the package cost. - Day 5: Mount Rigi: The train and cable car that you take to Mt Rigi is included in the package cost. - Day 5: Boat ride on Lake Lucerne: It is included in the cost - Day 6: Transfer to Grindelwald - Transfer to Grindelwald using swiss pass. - Day 7: Interlaken Region Full Day Tour- You will have a pass for the entire day which will allow complete access to all trains in the region (however, mountain trains and cable cars are not covered and will require individual tickets) - Day 7: Mt Jungfrau visit - This excursion is optional. - Day 8: Transfer to Zurich - Day 9: Departure from Zurich - Swiss Pass: To travel around Switzerland you need to have the Swiss Pass which will give you easy access to all the public transports also sightseeings

We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. On arrival in Zurich, you will go to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day in Zurich getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.

Note: To travel around Switzerland we will provide you with the Swiss Pass which will give you easy access to all the public transports and sightseeings. You will have the pass for 8 days, which will cover all your days in Switzerland.

Rhine Falls Excursion And Zurich Walking Tour

Today you’ll be covering the Rhine Falls which is amongst the largest waterfalls in Europe. You can admire the falls from afar from the various viewing platforms. There is also a boat tour to experience the falls even closer. If you are interested in it, you will have to pay for it there. It costs CHF 15 per person. Otherwise it is free to visit and the transport from Zurich to Rhine falls is covered by the Swiss Pass.

Next, you’ll be going on a walking tour of Zurich, where you will be covering the key attractions of Zurich like the Town Hall, Cathedral, Opera House and other beautiful historic streets. This is a self guided tour. You will be given a Google Map route and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself.

Note: To travel around Switzerland we will provide you with the Swiss Pass which will give you easy access to all the public transports and sightseeings. You will have the pass for 6 days, which will cover all your days in Switzerland. Except on the first day as that day is kept for leisure Zurich.

This morning you will be transferred to Appenzell from Zurich via train using the Swiss Pass. On reaching Appenzell check-in to your hotel.

Next explore Appenzell, nestled in the heart of eastern Switzerland, Appenzell exudes old-world charm with its quaint streets and traditional Swiss architecture. Renowned for its picturesque landscapes and rich cultural heritage, this idyllic town offers a glimpse into Swiss rural life. Visitors can explore the captivating streets lined with colorful buildings, sample local delicacies like Appenzeller cheese, and immerse themselves in the region’s folk traditions.

Also visit St. Gallen, a vibrant city in northeastern Switzerland, seamlessly blends history with modernity. At its heart lies the Abbey of St. Gall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture and rich cultural significance. Visitors can wander through the charming old town, admiring medieval structures and picturesque squares, or delve into the city’s cultural scene at museums and galleries.

This morning you will be transferred to Engelberg from Appenzell via train using the Swiss Pass.

On this day you will visit Mt. Titlis where you will head from Engelberg, onward to the hugely popular Mt Titlis by Gondola and cable car. The cost for the ticket of entry, the gondola and cable car included in the package cost. To reach this place you will need to take a train to Engelberg from Lucerne with the help of Swiss Pass. Watch out for amazing views of a high alpine world of rocks and snow. The ’Ice Flyer’ chairlift allows you to ’fly’ over the glacier and see it up close (the cost of Ice Flyer is included).

Next you can go for the exciting trip up the Stanserhorn on the CabriO cableway and funicular railway, which dates back to 1893, is like taking a trip through cableway history. A 100 kilometer Alpine chain, 10 Swiss lakes, Stanserhorn rangers, marmots, a plant protection area with enchanting flora and fauna, culinary delights in the Stanserhorn revolving restaurant (additional cost), and lots more are just waiting to be discovered on the Stanserhorn. 1,900 meters above everyday life.

The most memorable moments of the trip are etched in the CabriO – the world’s first open double-decker cable car. A one-of-its-kind cable car is a combination of a mighty, luxurious bus with a convertible-car-like open roof, allowing you to bask 360-degree panoramic views. The six and a half minute journey of CabriO equals an indulgent ride to paradise, rejoicing the picturesque, green landscapes of Switzerland.

Please note that a few days every year, Mount Titlis is closed for maintenance. If your Mount Titlis excursion falls within these maintenance dates, we will replace it with Mount Pilatus excursion.

Today after breakfast, you will visit Mt. Rigi from Lucerne. You will take the train and cable car to Mt Rigi which is included in the package cost. It’s a typical Swiss green landscape with meadows, forests and grazing cows which will definitely leave you mesmerized.

Ending your day with a relaxed boat ride, you’ll cover the boat ride on Lake Lucerne that is included in the package. From the boat, you will see picturesque villages with traditional buildings, as well as very dramatic mountains as you move farther from Lucerne.

Day 6 Transfer To Grindelwald

Today visit car-free villages of Murren, Wengen etc and Hiking Trails in the region. This whole day will be spent in the region of Interlaken. You will have a pass for the entire day which will allow complete access to all trains in the region (however, mountain trains and cable cars are not covered and will require individual tickets)

For gorgeous mountain scenery and tranquility, few spots rival the two carless villages of Murren and Wengen, on either side of the verdant Lauterbrunnen Valley. On a clear day, from Murren, one has a spot-on view of the three most famous Swiss alpine peaks- the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau. Wengen is a more bustling village, with a wider range of restaurants and services.

If you are a hiking enthusiast, you will find several opportunities to hike in the region as well.

Another attraction in the area includes The Trummelbach Falls which are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, stairs, and illumination.
