The following are the inclusions in this tour: - Private pick up and drop from the airport for the party. There will be enough space for one medium size checked bag per passenger and one small cabin bag - 3 star hotel with breakfast (no other meals are included) - Day 1: Interlaken Region Full Day Tour- You will have a pass for the entire day which will allow complete access to all trains in the region (however, mountain trains and cable cars are not covered and will require individual tickets) - Swiss Pass: To travel around Switzerland you need to have the Swiss Pass which will give you easy access to all the public transports also sightseeings - Day 2: Mt. Rigi Excursion- The train and cable car that you take to Mt Rigi is included in the package cost. - Day 2: Boat ride on Lake Lucerne: It is included in the cost - Day 3: Mount Titlis - The cost for the ticket of entry is included. To reach this place you will need to take a train to Engelberg from Lucerne. The gondola and the cable car costs are also included in the package. - Day 3: Mt. Stanserhorn Excursion- The train and cable car that you take to Mt Stanserhorn is included in the package cost. - Day 4: Rhine Falls Excursion- Thereโ€™s a boat ride at the fall which takes you to closer to the fall. If you are interested in it, you will have to pay it there. It costs CHF 15 per person. Otherwise it is free to visit and the transport from Zurich to Rhine falls is covered by the Swiss Pass. - Day 5: Transfer to Venice: You will be transfered by train to Venice from Zurich. You have to reach the train station on your own. Transfers from the hotel to the train stations and vice-versa are not included. - Day 5: Key Attractions of Venice - Venice is an island city with crisscrossing canals. The best way to explore the city is on foot. This is a self guided walk and can be done as per your convenience once you arrive in Venice. - Day 6: Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands - Use the Vaporetti (Water Bus) to reach the islands. You would already have your 24 hour water bus pass. - Day 6: Transfer to Florence: You will be transfered by train to Florence from Venice. You have to reach the train station on your own. Transfers from the hotel to the train stations and vice-versa are not included. - Day 7: Pisa Visit - Take the train from Florence to Pisa. The tickets are regional and you can take any train up to 3 hours after the printed time on the ticket. Alight at Pisa Central Station and head to The Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tower is about 2 KMs from the station. There are regular buses from the station to the tower. Ticket will cost Euro 1 per adult and 50% for children. Note that the train tickets provided between Florence and Pisa are valid for 3 hours from the time printed on the ticket. During this time you can take any train between the stations. - Day 7: Transfer to Rome - You will be transfered by train to Rome from Florence. You have to reach the train station on your own. Transfers from the hotel to the train stations and vice-versa are not included. - Day 8: Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill - Skip the line admission tickets are included. The ticket lasts 24 hours from the entrance time written on your voucher. The booked entrance time (if any) is for the Colosseum entrance and must be respected. After visiting the Colosseum, visitors can enter the Roman Forum and the Palatine museum with same tickets in the following 24 hours. - Day 8: Vatican City and St. Peterโ€™s Bascilica - This is a Self Guided Visit. If you wish, you may also visit the Vatican Museum (tickets to be purchased additionally at site). The museum is famous for The Sistine Chapel with its ceiling painted by Michelangelo. - Day 9: Pickup from the hotel by private cab and drop to the airport.

We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. Also the transfers from train station to hotel and vice versa are not included. For this purpose you can easily haul a cab. This way the need to manage bags on your own will be limited. Note: City Taxes on hotels is excluded and must be paid at the time of check-in directly to the hotel. It varies from 2-4 EUR per person per night

      Today you will be arriving in Zurich airport. Then you will be transferred to Interlaken from Zurich via train using the Swiss Pass that will be provided to you by us. On reaching Interlaken check-in to your hotel.

      After that visit car-free villages of Murren, Wengen etc and Hiking Trails in the region. This whole day will be spent in the region of Interlaken. You will have a pass for the entire day which will allow complete access to all trains in the region (however, mountain trains and cable cars are not covered and will require individual tickets)

      For gorgeous mountain scenery and tranquility, few spots rival the two carless villages of Murren and Wengen, on either side of the verdant Lauterbrunnen Valley. On a clear day, from Murren, one has a spot-on view of the three most famous Swiss alpine peaks- the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau. Wengen is a more bustling village, with a wider range of restaurants and services.

      If you are a hiking enthusiast, you will find several opportunities to hike in the region as well.

      Another attraction in the area includes The Trummelbach Falls which are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, stairs, and illumination.

      Overnight in the Interlaken region (the stay would be in the town of Interlaken. In case you wish to stay overnight in one of the villages like Wengen or Grindelwald, which offers a more authentic Swiss experience, an additional cost of CHF 80 per person per night will apply).

      This morning you will be transferred to Lucerne from Interlaken via train using the Swiss Pass and on reaching Lucerne check-in to your hotel.

      On this day you will also visit Mt. Rigi from Lucerne. You will take the train and cable car to Mt Rigi which is included in the package cost. Itโ€™s a typical Swiss green landscape with meadows, forests and grazing cows which will definitely leave you mesmerized.

      Next, weโ€™ll cover the boat ride on Lake Lucerne that is included in the package. From the boat, you will see picturesque villages with traditional buildings, as well as very dramatic mountains as you move farther from Lucerne.

  • Day 3 Mt. Titlis Excursion And Visit To Mt. Stanserhorn

      On this day you will visit Mt. Titlis where you will head to Engelberg and onward to the hugely popular Mt Titlis by Gondola and cable car. The cost for the ticket of entry, the gondola and  cable car included in the package cost. To reach this place you will need to take a train to Engelberg from Lucerne with the help of Swiss Pass. Watch out for amazing views of a high alpine world of rocks and snow. The โ€™Ice Flyerโ€™ chairlift allows you to โ€™flyโ€™ over the glacier and see it up close (the cost of Ice Flyer is included).

      Next you can go for the exciting trip up the Stanserhorn on the CabriO cableway and funicular railway, which dates back to 1893, is like taking a trip through cableway history. A 100 kilometer Alpine chain, 10 Swiss lakes, Stanserhorn rangers, marmots, a plant protection area with enchanting flora and fauna, culinary delights in the Stanserhorn revolving restaurant (additional cost), and lots more  are just waiting to be discovered on the Stanserhorn. 1,900 meters above everyday life.

      The most memorable moments of the trip are etched in the CabriO โ€“ the worldโ€™s first open double-decker cable car. A one-of-its-kind cable car is a combination of a mighty, luxurious bus with a convertible-car-like open roof, allowing you to bask 360-degree panoramic views.       Today you will be transferred to Zurich from Lucerne via train using the Swiss Pass that will be provided to you by us. On reaching Zurich check-in to your hotel.

      After checking into your hotel youโ€™ll be covering the Rhine Falls which is amongst the largest waterfalls in Europe. You can admire the falls from afar from the various viewing platforms. There is also a boat tour to experience the falls even closer. If you are interested in it, you will have to pay for it there. It costs CHF 15 per person. Otherwise it is free to visit and the transport from Zurich to Rhine falls is covered by the Swiss Pass.

       

      Afterwards go on a walking tour of Zurich, where you will be covering the key attractions of Zurich like the Town Hall, Cathedral, Opera House and other beautiful historic streets. This is a self guided tour. You will be given a Google Map route and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself.

Next, youโ€™ll be covering the Key attractions of Venice by foot which will take you through sites like Rialto Bridge and St. Markโ€™s Square, Bridge of Sighs, Dogeโ€™s Palace. Venice is an island city with crisscrossing canals. The best way to explore the city is on foot. This is a self guided tour. You can do it as per your convenience once you check into your hotel.

      This morning after breakfast head to the Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands. You will have to use the Vaporetti (Water Bus) to reach the islands with the help of the 48 hour water bus pass provided by us. You will cruise to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello in the Venetian Lagoon. The most famous of the Venetian islands, they are known throughout the world for their picturesque scenery, handicrafts, and history. 

      After that you will transfer to Florence from Venice by Train and checking in to the hotel. The train ticket is included. You have to reach the train station on your own. Transfers from the hotel to the train stations and vice-versa are not included. After checking in you can spend the rest of the day in Florence getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.

      Today you will go to the wondrous โ€œLeaning Tower of Pisaโ€. It is a freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean. Also visit the Cathedral / Duomo. You will have to take a train from Florence to Pisa. Note that the train tickets will be provided by us between Florence and Pisa and they will be valid for 3 hours from the time printed on the ticket. During this time you can take any train between the stations. The tower is about 2 KMs from the Pisa central station. There are regular buses from the station to the tower. Bus tickets will cost around Euro 1 per adult and 50% for children. 

      After that you will transfer to Rome from Florence by Train and checking in to the hotel. The train ticket is included. You have to reach the train station on your own. Transfers from the hotel to the train stations and vice-versa are not included. After checking in you can spend the rest of the day in Rome getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.

Observe what remains and imagine the ferocious fights between man and beast as you stand in the elliptical arena. This comprises 4 levels and was once able to seat up to 73,000 spectators.  In this self guided trip, the skip the line admission are included. The ticket lasts 24 hours from the entrance time written on your voucher. The booked entrance time (if any) is for the Colosseum entrance and must be respected. After visiting the Colosseum, visitors can enter the Roman Forum and the Palatine museum, which is a must-see sight for those visiting the Eternal City, with the same tickets in the following 24 hours. 

      Later you shall visit The Vatican which is a city-state located in the heart of Rome. The Vatican City is world-famous as the center of the Roman Catholic Church. This is a Self Guided Visit. If you wish, you may also visit the Vatican Museum (tickets to be purchased additionally at site). The museum is famous for The Sistine Chapel with its ceiling painted by Michelangelo. You shall also go inside St. Peterโ€™s Basilica, and may buy a ticket for climbing the dome (optional, at additional cost), or just admire St. Peterโ€™s square.
