Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing

Stop At: Gaki Lam, Thimphu, Bhutan
You will visit the serene Buddha Dordenma (tallest statue of sitting Buddha).
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Simply Bhutan Museum, Genyen Lam, Thimphu Bhutan
Simply Bhutan museum showcases the old traditional way of Bhutanese life.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cordyceps Tasting House, Kashi Lam, Thimphu Bhutan
Taste the medicinally enriched cordyceps tea.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Thimphu Chorten (Memorial Chorten), Thimphu Bhutan
Visit one of the most visible landmarks in Thimphu. The Tibetan-style stupa was built in 1974 as a memorial to the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

Day 3: Thimphu - Phunakha

Stop At: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
Dochula Pass sits at the height of 3100m. On a clear sky day, you can also spot a stunning panoramic view of the eastern Himalayan range.

Stop At: Chimi Lhakhang Temple, Punakha Bhutan
Take a short hike to the fertility temple.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Punakha Dzong, Punakha 13001 Bhutan
A must visit to the second oldest and second largest Dzong in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structure & architecture.

Day 4: Punakha - Phobjikha Valley

Stop At: Gangtey Monastery, Gangtey Bhutan
Visit the Gangtey monastery, perched on a hilltop.

Learn more about one of the rarest migratory birds in the world. They migrate from Tibet to escape the harsh cold winter by end of October & migrate back in March.

Day 5: Phobjikha - Paro

Stop At: Tachog Lhakhang(tamchu), Bhutan
Experience the oldest iron bridge in the country and also stop for river sightseeing to experience the pristine Himalayan river.

Stop At: Kyichu Lhakhang, Lamgong Gewog, Paro 12001 Bhutan
Visit the oldest lhakhang and also the Paro National Museum
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Paro Airport Bird's Eye View Point, Paro Bhutan
Enjoy the picturesque view of Paro airport

Day 6: Paro - Taktsang Hike

Stop At: Paro Taktsang, Taktsang Trail BT, Paro Bhutan
In the morning you will make a short drive to the base, leading to Taktshang ( Tiger's Nest Monastery). The monastery requires around 5-6 hour hike (both ways for an average walker ). Tiger's nest is Bhutan's most iconic holy sites and is always the highlight of the Bhutan trip.
