      AYUBOWAN-! Welcome to Sri Lanka, the land like no other, and 13 days of explorations, experiencing the best cultural adventure, the lush green tea estates and waterfalls, the amazing wildlife, and the beautiful golden sandy beaches. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel (we can pick you up from any hotel in Colombo or Negombo as well).  The ๏ฌrst destination will be capital city of Colombo, which has an interesting history running back to the ๏ฌfth century. Even in ancient times, this was an important port city in the East-West sea trade. Nowadays it has become a bustling modern town with a unique atmosphere. The colorful streets, restaurants and modern shopping malls attract hordes of locals and tourists alike. 
      • In Colombo, you have the opportunity to visit all the highlighted places in the city such as Red Mosque, Gangarama temple, Independent square and so on..
      • Evening, Perhaps you may pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to strat your trip over an unforgettable meal.

  • Day 2 Galle Fort / Turtle Hatchery

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll continue your journey along the beautiful south coast towards Galle, a city well known for its Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is the intersection where classic Dutch and British architecture meets a tropical setting, creating a vivid atmosphere of beauty. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Galle,  youโ€™ll visit a turtle hatchery center where baby turtles learn to take their first swim and injured adults are rehabilitated back into the ocean. 
      • Upon arrival to Galle. walk through the Galle Fort listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions nowadays ๏ฌ‚ooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale. 
      • Thereafter,check-in to your hotel and relax on the beach or by the pool.

  • Day 3 Sinharaja Rain Forest Trekking

      Sinharaja Rain Forest Trekking

      • Sinharaja (UNESCO World Heritage Site). is a Rain Forest and a biodiversity hotspot which is located in south west lowland wet zone within Sabaragamu and Southern provinces of Sri Lanka. Sinharaja rain forest is the countryโ€™s last viable area of primary tropical rain forest. It covers an area of 11,000 Ha of primary and secondary forests. This narrow strip of rolling site comprises of a series of ridges and valleys. More than 60% of the trees are endemic to Sinharaja Forest and many of them are considered rare. 
      • There is much endemic wildlife, especially birds but the reserve is also home to over 50% of Sri Lankaโ€™s endemic species of butterflies & mammals and also many kinds of insects, reptiles and rare amphibians. 
      • This is one of the main reasons that UNESCO declared Sinharaja Forest as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1988 under the name of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. In 1936 Sinharaja Forest was first recognized as being the only considerable patch of virgin tropical rain forest in the Island.

      • After breakfast, youโ€™ll be heading to Ella, Upon arrival explore the village, Ella is everyoneโ€™s favorite hill country village due to the fact that itโ€™s a wonderful nature-friendly location. The Nine Arch Bridge, a major tourist attraction in Ella, is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without using a single piece of steel. Ella is a great place for walking and climbing and its most famous trekking route is โ€œLittle Adamโ€™s Peakโ€. 
      • In the evenings, you could chill out at the village center where there are lots of restaurants, pubs and also evening entertainments.

  • Day 5 Spectacular Train Journey Into The Mountains

      Spectacular Train Journey Into The Mountains

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll have a wonderful journey towards Sri Lankaโ€™s tea region of Nuwara Eliya. It is often referred to as โ€œLittle Englandโ€ because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queenโ€™s Cottage, the Generalโ€™s House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club, and the Town Post Of๏ฌce. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • In the morning, you will enjoy a spectacular train journey from Ella village to Nanu-Oya station. It is known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world (Train ticket will be arranged at the station / Class category is subject to availability).   
      • Afternoon, you will enjoy walking through Nuwara Eliya city center and the fruit and vegetable market.

  • Day 6 Kitulgala Forest Adventures & Rafting

      Kitulgala Forest Adventures & Rafting

      In the morning, proceed towards Kitulgala forest, which is a major ecotourism venue in Sri Lanka. It is a real paradise for those who love adventures.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Nuwara Eliya, while driving through the cold and misty hills that host lush green tea plantations, stop at a tea factory to observe the rich tradition of making Ceylon tea kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.
      • Upon arrival to Kitulgala experience White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River. The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted, with a memorable experience during your River Rafting Tour in Kitulagala. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with all the safety measures. 
      • Afterwards, trek to a natural rock pool, which is extremely beautiful and a gift of nature, where you will be able to experience sliding down an inclined 05-meter waterfall with safety gear into the rock pool.
      • NOTE: above activities are optional, if you do not wish to attend, you can simply have a relaxing day at your cosy hotel while enjoying the surrounding nature.

  • Day 7 Temple Of Tooth Relic / Royal Botanical Garden / Cultural Dance Show

      After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. Itโ€™s set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio-diverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Kandy, you will visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, one of the best botanical gardens in Asia. It attracts 2 million visitors annually and it is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres. 
      • Morning, visit Museum; get to know more about the World-renowned and most prestigious Sri Lankan gems and jewellery in a gem museum tour. 
      • Upon arrival, vist the Tepmle Of Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Kandy view point.
      • In the afternoon, youโ€™ll explore on your own walking around Kandyโ€™s city centre before engaging with a cultural dance show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance and cultural heritage.

  • Day 8 Golden Cave Temple / Pidurangala Rock Hike

      DAY PLAN:

      • After breakfast, visit the Royal Cave Temple and the Golden Buddha Statue (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Dambulla has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and signi๏ฌcant historical drawings. 
      • Thereafter, explore around the Dambulla city and the vegetable trade market. 
      • Afternoon, if you are up to it, enjoy hike to Pidurangala rock to witness and take pictures of the sunset. Pidurangala hike is a bit challenging, there is no clear path to the top: steep paths and uneven steps give way to an expanse of boulders and crevices that climbers must navigate in order to reach the summit. Make sure you have mosquito spray if bites trouble you.

  • Day 9 Sigiriya Fortress / Cultural Village Walk

      DAY PLAN:  

      • Morning, you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site) since itโ€™s the best time to witness and capture the beautiful scenery of sunset from the summit. King Kasyapa (477 โ€“ 495 AD) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Known as one of the wonders of the world due to the amazing architecture & technology being used.
      • Thereafter, youโ€™ll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside. It is a great opportunity to get close to unique local culture & life style of Sri Lankan people.  It will start with a Tuk Tuk ride and a catemaran boat ride across the lake before reaching the farmerโ€™s house where you will experience a Sri Lankan curry cooking demostration & authentic countryside food. 
      • Afternoon, head back to your resort and relax. If youโ€™re interested you could experience an Ayurvedic herbal massage at the hotel.

  • Day 10 Wilpattu National Park Leopards-Trail Game Drive

      After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will have a wonderful coastal drive towards Anuradhapura. We would like you to visit this Wilapattu National Park, rather than the more touristic Yala National Park because we believe it is less crowded and it offers better experiences. Also, the same animals can be seen here as in Yala.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route, visit Anuradhapura Ancient City (UNESCO World Heritage Site) 
      • Afternoon, you will visit Wilapattu National Park Enjoy a 4x4 jeep ride searching for leopards hanging on trees or whispering through the bushes, crocodiles patrolling the river, or wild elephants drinking water and playing around under the evening sunset.

  • Day 11 Leisure Days At Kalpitiya Coastal Village

      After an amazing journey through the mountains and waterfalls, you have ๏ฌnally arrived at the beachside of Sri Lanka. In the morning, you will head towards Kalpitiya beach, where youโ€™ll enjoy three relaxing days at your beachfront hotel.  Kalpitiya is also characterized by white sands and coconut palms growing right from the edge of the sea as if in imitation of a postcard of the perfect tropical beach. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival at your hotel, you could grab a towel to relax on the beach while enjoying a cocktail or a chill beer under the shade of a palm tree. 
      • Optional activities: whale & dolphin watching (seasonal), kitesurfing, lagoon safari and many more water sports.

      The trip ends after breakfast at the hotel in Kalpitiya. There are no activities planned today, so you are free to depart from Kalpitiya at any time. If your flight is departing later in the day, luggage storage facilities are available at the hotel. Your tour leader will drive you to Colomboโ€™s Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), which is two and a half hours from your hotel, in time for your flight. Alternatively, you can extend your holiday and spend a few relaxing days at the beach.
