We descend to Brusje and the town of Hvar, accompanied by the perfume of lavender. You may make a pit stop along the route and get some lavender oil prepared at home. For many residents, it used to be their primary source of income. Despite the fact that tourism has mostly overtaken agriculture as the island's primary source of revenue, the island is still famed for its lavender oil. We arrive in Hvar's ancient town and begin walking along the seafront and docks. Lunch and free time to explore the town at your leisure. In the afternoon, we cycle back to Velo Grablje through a different route. As you could expect, we'll have to trek up to the village. However, the backup truck will be with us if you prefer to sit it out and enjoy the downhills and flatter areas. We have another 20 kilometers of downhill and flat terrain until we reach our accommodation from the top of the hill. In Jelsa, spend the night in the Fontana Hotel, a three-star hotel. We bike from Korcula to Lumbarda, a little beach village where we will spend the next two nights. A swimming pool and a patio with a fantastic view are available at our front sea hotel. We can have lunch (not included) in a nearby restaurant while admiring the breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. A fish supper that would ordinarily be a daily catch of the local fisherman is recommended. We pedal through the fertile landscape after lunch, past vineyards with sweeping sea views, and past the terracotta roofs of the locals. Before rejoining the road that leads back to Lumbarda, we pass through the roofs of Pupnat, the island's smallest village. The landscape of the little-visited but magnificent bay of Zuljana rewards us at the end of our trip. We travel two hours to the slopes that rise above Dubrovnik and to the summit of Mount Srdj's gondola and fort.
