The Indians Cloth and Hinduism. The Siamese Ivory and Buddhism. Arabs Perfumes and Islam. ย 1511 Portuguese Occupation. 1641 Dutch Occupation. 1795 British Occupation - and they left us with Independence on 31 August 1957.ย  Places of visit in Malacca : ย St Peter's Church 1710 Oldest Roman Catholic Church. ย A Famosa - Portuguese built Fort, now remains the gateway. ย St Paul's Hill - Also built by Portuguese now a graveyard. ย Jonkers' Street - A bustling street in Chinatown. The 15th Century Chinese immigrants married the locals and created history . Restaurants, souvenir shops and hotels are aplenty. A walkabout is a must . Check in to hotel.       The Capital City of Kuala Lumpur was a tin mining settlement with Tudor and Moorish designed colonial landmarks.ย  8am ย After breakfast depart for Kuala Lumpur and photo shoot the twin towers. Visit the iconic Batu Cavea and climb 272 steps into the temple. ย Devotees give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple. Visit Independent Square to see iconic British designed buildings and the oldest Jamek Mosque of mughal, islamic and Moorish designs. The Pewter and Batik are Malaysian handcrafted souvenirs. Visit Little India and Chinatown . Check in to hotel. Free and easy. ย  4pm Depart for Kuala Selangor which houses the largest fireflies colony in the world. After frolicking with the monkeys, adjourn to a riverside restaurant for a sumptuous seafood dinner. Then catch a boat to watch fireflies at their dazzling best. They feed, rest and are on a mating ritual. A fascinating sight to behold and silence to prevail.ย

      Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with the largest Tea Plantations in the region. with farmlands nurseries, wildlife aborigines etc. It was discovered by British Geologist Sir William Cameron in 1885.ย  8am ย After breakfast depart for Cameron Highlands ย visiting ย the tea plantations which are instrumental in drawing visitors to the Highlands. ย Take a sip seated on an elevated tea cafe and catch a glimpse of the rolling hills below. ย Take a stroll down the short trees for ample photo shoots. ย Then visit the Buttterfly Farm - a secret paradise to live stick insects, beetles, snakes, and rare butterflies dancing ย on scented flowers and ferns. ย Take a walk through the Vegetable ย Market to see various flowers, fruits and Vegetables grown in the Camerons.
