      Embark on an unforgettable adventure with your family as you explore the vibrant and captivating South Korea! Your journey starts with a warm welcome from your Adventure Leader at your hotel, where youโ€™ll receive a detailed briefing on your exciting itinerary.


      First up, itโ€™s time to channel your inner martial artist with an exhilarating taekwondo class. Youโ€™ll learn the basic moves and techniques of this traditional Korean martial art, leaving you feeling empowered and energized. After working up an appetite, youโ€™ll return to your hotel for a well-deserved break.


      The fun doesnโ€™t stop there! This evening, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to dine with your group or explore the local area on your own. Later, youโ€™ll head to the Namsan Cable Car station and embark on a breathtaking ride up to the Tower Observatory. Marvel at the stunning views of the Seoul skyline at night, and take in the twinkling lights of this bustling metropolis from above.


      At the end of your adventure-filled day, youโ€™ll return to your hotel feeling invigorated and ready for more.   • Day 2 Seoul

      Welcome to another exciting day of your South Korea tour! Today, youโ€™ll start your day with a visit to the stunning Gyeongbok Palace, where youโ€™ll witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at 10am. After the ceremony, you can visit the hanbok rental store to rent some traditional Korean clothing to wear while you explore the palace and its beautiful grounds.


      For lunch, your Adventure Leader will take you to the charming Bukchon Hanok Village, where you can explore the traditional Korean houses and enjoy the quaint streets. Next, youโ€™ll visit Insadong, an area that offers a glimpse into traditional Korean culture. You can browse the antique shops, visit the traditional tea houses, or explore the handcraft shops to find unique souvenirs to take back home.


      In the evening, get ready for some non-stop laughter as you attend the Nanta show! This non-verbal comedy uses music to tell the story of four chefs who have to prepare a wedding banquet in an hour. After the show, youโ€™ll have some free time to explore the lively Myeongdong area by night.

      Today is your chance to explore Seoul at your own pace and take in all the city has to offer. Your Adventure Leader is always happy to give recommendations, so donโ€™t hesitate to ask for their expert advice.


      If youโ€™re looking for more city sights, there are plenty of options to choose from. Check out some of the amazing museums, including the National Museum of Korea, the Seoul Museum of Art, or the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art. Or, take a stroll through some of Seoulโ€™s beautiful parks, such as Namsan Park, Yeouido Park, or Olympic Park.


      If youโ€™re in the mood for a day trip, consider taking a tour to Nami Island. This picturesque island is famous for its beautiful scenery and is a popular filming location for Korean dramas. Alternatively, you could visit Lotte World, one of Seoulโ€™s most popular amusement parks. With rides, attractions, and even a folk museum, thereโ€™s something for everyone at Lotte World.


      Whatever you choose to do, make the most of your free day in Seoul and take in all the amazing experiences this vibrant city has to offer.

  • Day 4 Jeonju

      Jeonju

      Today, your South Korea family tour takes you to the city of Jeonju via high-speed train (KTX), arriving late morning. After dropping off your luggage at the Hanok Village, youโ€™ll participate in a Bibimbap cooking class, where youโ€™ll learn how to make this traditional Korean dish in a city that is renowned for it. Bibimbap is a dish of mixed rice topped with sauteed vegetables, kimchi, meat, and egg.


      After the class, youโ€™ll have some time to explore the streets of Jeonjuโ€™s Hanok Village. There are many stores, snacks, and cafes hidden throughout, so try to find your favorite!


      In the evening, youโ€™ll check into your accommodation for the night - a traditional hanok stay. Youโ€™ll spend the night in one of these beautiful traditional Korean houses and have some time to explore the area at your own leisure.

  • Day 5 Gyeongju
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Gyeongju

      This morning, youโ€™re off to Gyeongju via an express bus. Once you arrive and drop off your luggage at the hotel, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the city centre, where youโ€™ll learn about the history of the area. The tour includes visits to the Chunmachong Ancient Tombs, Daerungwon Tumuli Park, and Cheomseongdae. Cheomseongdae is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in East Asia! Youโ€™ll also visit a 300-year-old hanok for a tea tasting.


      In the evening, youโ€™ll enjoy a traditional Korean meal before heading off to see the amazing night views of Anapji Pond from Donggung Palace. After a busy day, you can rest up for the night at your hotel.

  • Day 6 Golgulsa Temple Stay

      Golgulsa Temple Stay

      You have a free morning to explore Gyeongju! Your guide can give you some tips here, particularly if youโ€™re interested in seeing the UNESCO Bulguksa Temple, or the Woljeonggyo Bridge.


      In the early afternoon, youโ€™ll jump on a private shuttle bus bound for Golgulsa Temple, your accommodation for tonight. Once youโ€™ve arrived, your plans will follow the templeโ€™s schedule for the day. However, youโ€™ll have an orientation complete with etiquette tips, a meditation session, some time for communal work, and sunmudo training, a unique Korean martial art that incorporates meditation and movement. Youโ€™ll then have a traditional vegetarian Buddhist dinner before retiring to bed, experiencing the simplicity and peacefulness of temple life.

  • Day 7 Busan
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Busan

      ood morning! Get ready for an early start today, as youโ€™ll be waking up for a morning meditation and Buddhist chanting session at Golgulsa Temple. After this, youโ€™ll have a final traditional Buddhist breakfast at the temple before itโ€™s time to take the KTX train to your last stop, Busan.


      Once you arrive, youโ€™ll head straight to Gamcheon Village where youโ€™ll have some free time to explore the cultural area and grab some lunch. This afternoon, weโ€™re taking you to Songdo Beach, where youโ€™ll take the marine cable car for some spectacular views of the area. After that, weโ€™ll head to the Jagalchi Fish Market and then onto the trendy BIFF Square area. Here, youโ€™ll be able to take part in some shopping and try the local delicacy, Busan-style hotteok.


      After all that exploring, youโ€™ll transfer to your hotel for the night, where youโ€™ll have a free evening to relax and enjoy Busan at your own pace.

  • Day 8 Busan

      Welcome to your last day in South Korea! Weโ€™re excited to take you on a breathtaking journey that will leave you with unforgettable memories. Start the day off right by visiting the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, which is considered one of the most beautiful temples in Korea. Nestled along the coastline, this temple offers spectacular views and a unique experience that you wonโ€™t find at any other temple. Youโ€™ll be blown away by the serene atmosphere and stunning architecture.


      Afterward, take some time to relax on Gwangalli Beach, where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean breeze. There are plenty of beachside restaurants and cafes where you can grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.


      To end your South Korea family tour with a bang, weโ€™re taking you on a sightseeing boat tour of the Busan coast. Youโ€™ll see some of the most breathtaking views of the city skyline and coastline while enjoying a leisurely cruise. This will undoubtedly be the perfect end to your family adventure!
