Accommodation

Stays in hotels during your South Korea family tour. These are in centrally located hotels, and can include the Seoul Myeongdong Skypark, Gyeongju GG Tourist Hotel, and Busan IBIS Ambassador. An overnight stay in a traditional Korean hanok. An overnight stay at Golgulsa Temple. This stayโ€™s accommodation will reflect the style of the monksโ€™ sleeping arrangements.

  • Day 1 Seoul - Arrival Day

First up, it's time to channel your inner martial artist with an exhilarating taekwondo class. You'll learn the basic moves and techniques of this traditional Korean martial art, leaving you feeling empowered and energized. After working up an appetite, you'll return to your hotel for a well-deserved break. The fun doesn't stop there! This evening, you'll have the opportunity to dine with your group or explore the local area on your own. Later, you'll head to the Namsan Cable Car station and embark on a breathtaking ride up to the Tower Observatory. Marvel at the stunning views of the Seoul skyline at night, and take in the twinkling lights of this bustling metropolis from above. At the end of your adventure-filled day, you'll return to your hotel feeling invigorated and ready for more. South Korea has so much to offer, and this is just the beginning of your epic family tour.   • Day 2 Seoul

      Welcome to another exciting day of your South Korea tour! Today, you'll start your day with a visit to the stunning Gyeongbok Palace, where you'll witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at 10am. After the ceremony, you can visit the hanbok rental store to rent some traditional Korean clothing to wear while you explore the palace and its beautiful grounds. For lunch, your Adventure Leader will take you to the charming Bukchon Hanok Village, where you can explore the traditional Korean houses and enjoy the quaint streets. Next, you'll visit Insadong, an area that offers a glimpse into traditional Korean culture. You can browse the antique shops, visit the traditional tea houses, or explore the handcraft shops to find unique souvenirs to take back home. In the evening, get ready for some non-stop laughter as you attend the Nanta show! This non-verbal comedy uses music to tell the story of four chefs who have to prepare a wedding banquet in an hour. After the show, you'll have some free time to explore the lively Myeongdong area by night.

      Today is your chance to explore Seoul at your own pace and take in all the city has to offer. Your Adventure Leader is always happy to give recommendations, so don't hesitate to ask for their expert advice. If you're looking for more city sights, there are plenty of options to choose from. Check out some of the amazing museums, including the National Museum of Korea, the Seoul Museum of Art, or the Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art. Or, take a stroll through some of Seoul's beautiful parks, such as Namsan Park, Yeouido Park, or Olympic Park. If you're in the mood for a day trip, consider taking a tour to Nami Island. This picturesque island is famous for its beautiful scenery and is a popular filming location for Korean dramas. Alternatively, you could visit Lotte World, one of Seoul's most popular amusement parks. With rides, attractions, and even a folk museum, there's something for everyone at Lotte World.
