Day 1 - WELCOME TO ISRAEL
Arrival and check in at our hotel in Tel Aviv. Meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby at 6 p.m. (18:00), for a briefing of the tour
Day 2 - ARRIVAL TO SDE BOKER, VISIT TO EIN OVDAT
We leave Tel Aviv, and ย drive south to kibbutz Sde Boker in the Negev Desert. Check in at the kibbutz hotel. Drive from the Kibbutz to visit Ein Ovdat Oasis, a beautiful nature reserve. Meet the Nubian Ibex, a wild goat typical to the Negev and Judean Desert.
Day 3 - HOD AKAV SUMMIT, TZIN VALLEY, EIN AKEV SPRING
Drive for a visit to Capernaum, site of Jesusโ ministry, St. Peterโs house, and an ancient synagogue. Continue to Tabgha, traditionally known as the place where Jesus performed the miracle of the Loaves and the Fish. Proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus delivered the โSermon on the Mountโ. Ascend the Golan Heights for an impressive view of the cliffs of Mt. Hermon, the plateau of the Golan Heights, and the pastoral Hula Valley.
Day 4 - THE RAMON CRATER AND MUSEUM
After a short drive, arrive at Mitzpe Ramon-the highest town in the Negev and proceed to the Ramon Museum for a short explanatory visit. Then, hike down to the depths of the Ramon Crater which is one of the largest geographical craters in the world, cross Shen Ramon Hill to visit the wall of Ammonites
Day 5 - THE ISRAEL TRAIL IN THE MASSIF EILAT MOUNTAINS RESERVE
Drive to the area of Eilat Mountains and the nature reserve of the central massif on the southern part of the Israel Trail. Start the hike at Nahal Gishron through Maโale Bulbusim and end in Nahal Shlomo. Dinner and overnight in a Bedouin Tentch water of the Dead Sea.
Day 6 - WHEN THE SEA AND THE DESERT MEET
Commence the day by hiking the segment of the Israel Trail that crosses Tzefahot (Schist) Mountain for the most breathtaking view on the trail of the Red Sea, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. We hike down the last part of the trail to the Coral Beach on the shore of the Red Sea. Snorkeling in the coral reef nature reserve will be the rewarding end of our desert hike
Day 7 - THE DEAD SEA AND THE WALLS OF THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
Leave the southernmost point of Israel and drive north to the lowest point on earth. Stop for a bath in the Dead Sea and go up to Jerusalem. In the evening, experience illuminated Jerusalem while walking on the rampart walls surrounding the Old City
Day 8 - THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM
Explore the Old City of Jerusalem, holy to the three largest religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Walk on the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Proceed to the Western Wall, the holiest site for Jews, and then to the Moslem quarter. Stop for a view of the Temple Mount and the oriental bazaar
