Concha y Toro is the main exporter of wine in Latin America and one of the most important wine brands in the world, with presence in more than 135 countries. More than a century of producing fine wines of excellence. At the end of the 19th century, in 1883, when wine exploitation was just taking off in Chile, the renowned Chilean politician and entrepreneur Don Melchor Concha y Toro ordered noble French varietals from the Bordeaux region and planted them in Pirque, Maipo Valley. Hiring French enologist Monsieur Labouchรจre to oversee his wine production, this visionary founded the Concha y Toro vineyard, more than 130 years ago.  Visit the vineyard. Park, gardens, and mansion: stroll through the gardens, park, and exterior of the summer residence of the Concha y Toro family towards the end of the 19th century. Garden of grape varietals and vineyard: learn about where the Concha y Toro wine comes from at the Varietal Garden, where you will find 26 varieties of wine grapes. Visit Old Pirque vineyard. Panoramic view of Maipo Valley from the vineyardโ€™s terrace. Cellars and Casillero del Diablo. Visit the cellars. Among these, is the centennial Casillero del Diablo, the legend of wine. We start heading towards the Vineyard Cousiรฑo Macul, founded in 1856 and being one of the oldest in the Maipo Valley. The architecture of this place is not far behind, with a beautiful French style with a stone base and brick vaults glued with mortar (a mixture of lime, sand and egg white). Here you can enjoy a tour, learn about its history and taste its exquisite varieties of wine. Then we will visit the Bahรก`i House of Worship, the first in South America. An imposing place that stands out for its architecture and lighting, here you can connect with yourself in a calm and serene environment. Located in the foothills of the Andes, also gives you a spectacular panoramic view towards Santiago.
