Day 1 Flight To The Galapagos Islands – Highlands

Flight To The Galapagos Islands – Highlands

At scheduled time flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival at San Cristóbal Airport, you will have to comply arrival and security procedures. Transfer to your selected hotel to drop your luggage and start your adventure in the Archipielago. Visit to Frigate Bird Hill located in the western side of San Cristobal. Walk along an ecological path of approx. 20 minutes until we reach the Bird Hill, we will observe endemic plants and a small colony of frigates. Beautiful landscapes can be appreciated from this viewpoint, a statue of Scientist Charles Darwin. Visit to the Interpretation Centre, to learn about the evolution and history of the islands and its species, as well as the arrival of the first settlers, their concerns, achievements, as well as the development of the last years. Visit To The Eco Farm And The Hidden Route.

This day we will have an incredible adventure in the highlands of San Cristobal, we will visit a local farm. This farm produces tropical fruits and sugar cane, and process in confitures and other products. We will have the chance to see giant land tortoises in the wild and contribute to the conservation by adopting an endemic tree. We will hike along a hidden path that led us to a nice bay if conditions permit, we will be able to see some petrel nests and finally enjoy a delicious bath in a freshwater waterfall. Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch (Set Menu). Overnight in 4* Hotel (Miconia Hotel or similar)
Day 3 Full Day Navigation To Española

Full Day Navigation To Española

At scheduled time transfer to the Pier and embark with destination to Española Island, (2h30 aprox). Española is one of the most beautiful islands of the Archipelago. We will visit Punta Suarez and Gardner Island. At Punta Suarez, located at the northeast end of the island, you will observe Nazca Boobies as well as the famous blue-footed boobies, Darwin’s finches, and Galapagos Doves. Playful Sea lea lions and marine iguanas surround you on the beach tide waters. Between May and December, we will be able to see Waved Albatross, as they only nest on this island. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the amazing landscape of cliffs and the amazing blowhole. We will continue our visit to Gardner Isle, here you can practice snorkelling among the friendly and playful sea lions and observe colourful schools of fishes. Return to Puerto Baquerizo at the end of the afternoon. Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch on board (Set Menu). Overnight in 4* Hotel (Miconia Hotel or similar)
Day 4 Transfer To Santa Cruz: Tortuga Bay, Darwin Station

Transfer To Santa Cruz: Tortuga Bay, Darwin Station

Early wake up and transfer to Santa Cruz (2 hours navigation). Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for breakfast and luggage drop off. The rooms will be ready at 14:00 approx. We will walk for approximately 45 min to Tortuga Bay. This is one of the longest beaches of fine white sand in the archipelago. Along the trail, marine iguanas can be seen. There are two zones: Playa Brava, ideal to practice surf and Playa Mansa to enjoy clear waters. The beauty of the environment and the tranquillity of its waters will reward the walk. You will have the chance to experience the view from the sea while navigating in your kayak. In the afternoon, visit the Charles Darwin Research centre to learn about the conservation programs for the Archipelago. Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch (Set Menu). Overnight in 4* Hotel (Ikala Hotel or similar)
Day 5 Biking To Cerro Mesa And Garrapatero Beach

Biking To Cerro Mesa And Garrapatero Beach

At the scheduled time, we will start our excursion to Cerro Mesa Reserve in a bike, our exploration will permit you to discover the highlands zone of Santa Cruz, and admire the giant land tortoises walking in their natural habitat. Garrapatero beach will be waiting for us to reward the excursion with a refreshing bath in its clear waters. A box lunch will be provided. We will continue to a Raw Beer Brewery to learn about the process of the first Galapagueña Beer and toast for the marvelous journeys accomplished. Breakfast at the hotel, Box Lunch, Beer Tasting Overnight in 4* Hotel (Ikala Hotel or similar)
Day 6 Diving Baptism

Diving Baptism

Today you will experience the amazing underwater world of the 2nd Marine Reserve of the planet. After a briefing in which you will receive all the information on the excursion and the diving. You will be transferred to the Pier at Itabaca Channel and then to the diving site (diving site depends on weather and marine conditions). Transfer back to Santa Cruz in the afternoon. Breakfast at the hotel, Light lunch on board. Overnight in 4* Hotel (Ikala Hotel or similar)
Day 7 Artisanal Fishing & Snorkeling

Artisanal Fishing & Snorkeling

At scheduled time transfer to the Pier to embark on board our fishing destination, (navigation of 1h to 2h30 aprox,depending on the destination). It can be Floreana, Pinzon, Santa Fé, the visit depends on weather conditions as well us permitions of Galapagos National Park. You will enjoy fishing time in the site and there will be also snorkeling time or a dinghy ride along the cliffs of selected islands. Close encounter with both marine and land species are guaranteed. Return to Santa Cruz at the end of the afternoon. Breakfast at the hotel, Light lunch on board. Overnight in 4* Hotel (Ikala Hotel or similar)
Day 8 Transfer To Mainland And Connections

Transfer To Mainland And Connections

Morning transfer to Santa Cruz Island and then drive to Baltra airport for you flight back to mainland. International connection to your next destinations. Breakfast at the hotel, End of Services.
